Some engines and set up are so different... with a pnp ecu you always need a wideband after 0.8b. About timing ,they can alter better than the stock ecu meanwhile their iginition map are agressive on low octane
  2. Rx7 is the way to go. Trust gainzy
  3. If you want a greddy you have 2 options :1) e01 if you can use the rpm map... 2)type s.very easy to set up

If you can map yourself ...i can say yes go for an emb .if you canot do this ,these ecus are very good...
  5. You can add a safc o4 an emb if you want to fine tune...but about fuelling it will set after some periods at 10.5afr. a fpr will help
  6. You are wrong . Ultimate intercepts the in and out signal of the injectors.. it is not only talking altering a maf sensor... we can go to 150% with not problem... i have maped aem ,and vipec. There is not so much difference with the ultimate . This unit is very close to a standalone. And sorry if for an ultimate with bigger injectors we have very low duty cycle it will be the same for a standalone. .. the only benefits for some (and not all) standalones are :1) changing the ignition (coil) 2) boost controller 3)some options for steping motors or fan... About turbo,i recommend you a vf35 it
  7. 1) 6600 instead of 7000rpm is not a malfunction 2)do not trust the stock needle in the cluster gauge,in my seo when it is in the midle there is no difference if my car does 90c or 105c. The stock water gauge lies...you can fit a water gauge to verify and you will see the truth
  8. Do not be affraid...as luke told you it arrives sometimes
  9. You need to raise the intake plenum to get more top end .if you are stock like said 5e colin, you will not get no more hp
  10. I am not a fan to skim the head to get the target compression.4efte or 5e are prone to overheat and more on a Seo... i am not also a td05 fan. The only td05 i like come from greddy as the td05 14b or t517Z .As i said i prefer a vf35 on a high compression engine or a good garrett gt ball bearing. Remember the set up is not only the key ,the key is a good tune. I have ran on a gt2860 with my old 5efHe stock engine for 4 years on a greddy blue at 1.2b...
  11. You have some durections about this: 1)check ignition system 2)check fuel system 3)map sensor
  12. Mighty car mods talk about power...with the fake filter you have the risk that the filter will be eat by the turbo and damage the blades
  13. Yes you can , my first set up with BYP was a gt2860rs with e manabe blue with 445cc injectors
  14. you can add at the list KMS ...
  15. Yes these rods are very reliable you can accept higher boost ...
  16. not very fan about this turbo...laggy ,i prefer a td05 or a good garrett .. if you go to ihi , take vf35 ..
  17. it seems 5efhe rods,..i am sure .

    Emanage

be aware that it is not a plug and play ... you have to know wiring or get a harness ... and yes the map sensor is missing , you will need it
  19. Chinese knock off !! stay away !!
  20. Hi you cannot do nothing with standar injector due to the fact that this kind of turbo "lives" at a minimum of 1.2bar ...and at 1bar with this td05,you canot reach the perfect AFR ... I have tried td05-16g from scooby, and some KAMAK STS,but i prefer a td05-14b from greddy or some Garrett gtX ,meanwhile stock td05-16g are very cheap
  21. not fan about the hybrid ct9,takes a tf035
  22. a real 1.2bar spring is better than a manual boost controller ,and finaly it will hold boost better, but rarely sometimes not and you have to take an ebc
  23. you lust change lag time for 550cc,because when the engien is not cold after hours ,the ecu has tried to alter fueling.... change the lag time ,set it a litle rich and after hours verify if all is near the 14.7 15 afr at idle
  24. In fact the response is slow, i have big boost gauge to feel it this ebc reacts slowly we can notice this by the needle moving more s slowlier than the e01 or than the old blitz EBC.I have tried both the single solenoid and the twin, both react slowly
