    Haha yeah hydrocloric acid would eat the aluminium i suspect. I have some traffic film remover so might soak it in that, i think my name my get cursed a little if i put a cylinder head in the dishwasher but it is a thought....hmmm.

    Lol I said cheap! Carb/injector cleaner is great stuff but expensive. might have to get on to the local chippy or whole sale to get a few pints of vinegar then Any other acid based chemicals that are good? can get my hands on hydrocloric acid, maybe a little strong lol

    I men't the internal parts like getting all the built up crud and lacquer off the inside of the cylinder head when i take it off to fit new stem seals in the winter? Have used paraffin in the past or other stuff left lying around in the lock up but some ones been helpfull and had a clear up so there's nout about now. ?

    What do people on hear use for cheap an easily available cleaner for cylinder heads/blocks etc? mainly for getting shot of 16 years of what oil changes and or lack of have left behind! Thanks.
