Airfeeds have nothing to do with an MOT. Its simply a test of road worthiness no engine health you could have an MOT with your bottom end knocking and it would pass yet you would fail if you have a wiper with a little nick in the middle. Strange things are MOT's. Good rule of thumb though if in doubt just cover it up as you cannot remove covers during them that why people with old cars tht are rusted to bits just screw some MDF to the underside.

Nothing to do with it being 5 30 or to do with washing it lol. Something is fucked im afraid. Check the breathers arent blocked. If it smokes blue on cold start up then goes away its valve stem oil seals. If it smokes blue coming off the revs and at idle then its the turbo.

The plug where the wires go to? Is it right beside the plug where the lambda sensor goes? If so its a plug for the A/C and if its been removed then thats your explanation. I use 10w40 oil mobil super 2000 best stuff ive used but everone has their own preferences. As for the comp fins if they are chipped by dirt hitting them then it will begin to whistle dont worry though its more than likely a leak if you have an air filter fitted.

Whistling is a boost leak or fuked comp fins.

Someone posted up a gadget that he was planning on fitting which helped to increase spark strength and quality but in all honesty replacing parts should fix it. Micky do you mean it could be fuel related rather than ignition?

Yep mate thanks to Arnold Shark and their amatuer mechanics!!! Absolute farce the standard in that place. So needed a new tyre and my alloy is cracked in 2 places so customer services and trading standards have both been contacted so see what happens.

Why not just port the mani you have then its an absolute doddle!

Nah I completely understand the only way to enforce that would be to start a clock basically from the day of taking 1st payment but obviously might be a little more difficult to actually enforce it. TBH I would hope from now on most people will keep track of dates and people involved in the GB can enforce that themselves. Given that traders dont penalise anyone who may open one while the GB is still continuing. Cheers

Agree with Morgey good to see these made available. Also a good point made. Will there be a set time for GB's from now on? Should possibly be set at 45 days from 1st payment keeping all buyers safe? Whether or not that is viable is a different matter but does offer a fool proof plan also means no one is taking cash for something they are going to mess around with.

I had mine rebuilt by glasgow turbo specialists. Actually was a nightmare replaced the seals twice and it continued to smoke. Turned out it was the bearing housing that was cracked to had to use the housing from another ct9 I had. Got a newer bigger comp wheel in mine plus a larger exhaust wheel along with the bearing housing changed and the seals replaced. I obviously supplied the bearing housing but they provided the rest I also took the turbo off aswell but this isnt advised always as they then cant test it which was part of my problem. Ended up costing £330 for me which is

What suspension have you got fitted mate? If its when your coming off the throttle it could be a top mount or engine mount or as CV as said above.

Thats quite a decent lookin 1 no a heap a shite you get for a grand.

No mate its jus like a sort of increase measurement. So whats your actuator set at? Or wastgate spring? What u want to do is go on a dual carraigeway and set the gain to 0 then get on full boost see what it is then increase the gain to say 10. Get back on full boost and keep repeating this untill u get the exact amount of boost you want. You of course dont need to go up in 10s but it tends to be easier then you finely tune it to get it just right. Also do your runs in 3rd or 4th gear as this has the most stable boost. If you want to know anythin else mate jus let me know.

Are you waiting on the new one coming? Im assuming the problem is the cable ties that are all over it. To be fair the cable length is irrelevant it could be a mile long what matters is the length of the parts that sit beyond the spring clip where it mounts on top of the gearbox. You do realise you have no speedometer either??

Do any of you know the best way to go about making the back end a little sportier? I know the e46 had a small lip on the tailgate and im sure you can get the same for the E92 but is there any that you recommend are good value for money?
