  1. 12.7 is sound mate. Tried the pump across the battery and nothing? That isnt half strange that! Only thing I can think of now is trying a continuity test on the pump itself. Possible something has jammed the pump? Might sound daft but did you try the connections around the other way? Really shouldnt matter but maybe worth a try.
  2. If the car was running at all then the pump should be fine. What connections did you use? Try and make sure you have it all working before sticking it back in the tank will save you a load of hassle. Might sound strange but could something have drained the battery while you were doing the work? Did you have it disconnected?
  3. Doesnt sound promising mate. Should be 12v minimum. Try taking the pump out and and hold the 2 wires directly onto the battery and see if it works then. If it doesnt then its a dud. If it does then you have a slight drain in your connections.
  4. They are cheap reps of OZ titans. Real Oz Titans are far nicer. Looks like wolfrace centre caps.
  5. Ball joints and decent suspension set up is the best you will do for this. Bare in mind its a 900kg car with the aerodynamics of a parachute its never going to feel planted at high speed. Canards on the front bumper will help too anything that will force the front end down.
  6. Im with you on that do we have a thread for other cars that everyone else drives? That would be a decent thread to see what else everyone has with this being a starlet forum you tend not to think past that.
  7. I know mate ive checked already its kl though Ill either get part worns off the bay or just get some out my old work at trade. Haha sound mate deal!!! Aww you dont even want to know man ill pm you.
  8. To be honest 100k is fuck all most of these cars are there or there abouts.
  9. Cheers mate i was actually going to ask if anybody knew of any good forums for them as every1 I seem to look at is very US based and I cant be bothered with the arrogant yanks lol. Whats the performance kit? I planned to just get myself a slight map to get about 200bhp and hopefully a bit better economy only thing is I will be using it for commuting so In dont want to risk reliability. Haha cheers Trisk It says at the bottom of that article that M models come with it as standard but mine doesnt I know the Key acts as a memory card for driver settings but it hasnt been saving
  10. Aye man theres a button on the dash but a need to turn it off everytime I get in it and when I 1st drove it away the battery was obv slightly flat so it didnt actually start working till I got home and was in Mcd's drive through and it cut out I nearly had a heart attack lol.
  11. U like that Paul told you it wouldn't be no Audi lol. Cheers mate. Eh same as the VXR think it was an extra 88 for the year. Starlet is still the most expensive to insure of all 3 lol.
  12. Haha I know mate I only really like BM's as far as German cars go and i've wanted 1 for a while but being relatively young and the fact they are usually 20k I had to hold off for a while. Emm it has the wheels bodykit, electric seatbelt robot thingy lol, electric seats, full leather interior, heated mirrors, start stop technology (which is a pain in the hole.) Im not really 100% sure what is actually an optional. Its not heavily kitted but compared to the V and the VXR its very well kitted. Its just the comfort and economy I am enjoying that I havent had before.
  13. The theory test is a doddle. Well it was when I done it I know its harder now. All you need to do is play the disc for an hour everynight for a week beforehand and your pretty much garunteed to pass it. Memorise the questions because they are always the same lol. Think I got 35/35 for questions. About 80% for HP.
  14. Cheers mate I fucking love it. Its just a 320D with all the M Sport trim which makes it look rather tidy if I do say so myself.
  15. As some of you who know me will know i've been wanting a new car recently as I had a Corsa VXr which in fairness was nice but farrr too costly to run. (About 30mpg and £250 PA road tax). So at the weekend I finally picked up my new car. So its goodbye to this little beast which strangely enough even with its problems I will miss it. And its hello to this sexy peice of ass. Can't get away with just how much equipment is rolled into this plus it does 60mpg is £100 PA road tax. So should save me a fair whack. It came with just about everything and even had very low mileage a
  16. Good stuff matey if u have a wire brush give the area a good clean before you put the paste on. If its the cream coloured stuff it will also help you if you let the car heat up a bit before putting it on as the heat will make it go tacky while your doing it and help it to stick better.
  17. Pretty sure it will be the exhaust then got to keep in mind the standard exhaust has been on there best part of 20 years. The longer it has been in the UK the longer it has had to rust. The exhausts come over here are still pretty much spot on but as soon as they are here with our ran and gritted roads they rot pretty quickly. Best off just to get a stainless steel 1 on there. Theres always 1 for sale in the for sale or breaking section. As they are quite pricey when bought new.
  18. Just take it to your local garage either that or jack it up yourself and have a roll about underneath ull soon follow the noise to the leak or u can put your hands around where you think its coming from (obviously not touching the hot exhaust) and you will feel the hot gases coming out of where it is leaking. Yes you can use your hand to make a tight seal at the exit pipe and if its leaking the gases will come out of the leak obv the gases are not coloured so you wont likely see them but you will hear them get louder. I assume it is the standard OEM exhaust that is still fitted then?
  19. Chances are it will be a blowing exhaust mate there isnt much else that would make that kind of noise. Just go to a local garage and ask them to check it if your not a competent diy mechanic yourself they can fire it up on a ramp and check it for you. Its pretty easy to identify a blowing exhaust so if your not sure that it is then its difficult for me to explain.
  20. Possible they added an extra 0 in error? Making them £1323? That seems a bit cheap though tbh maybe they are £13,230
  21. PM'd Dumbarton mate tbh you would be cheaper having it posted by the time you put fuel in your car coming from fife your £20 here and back at least.
