Thought as much was same for me. He was shortening the rod on the master which is adjustable behind the pedal. Basically the longer it is the less you need to touch the pedal to disengage the clutch.

Best off with DOT5 as it doesnt absorb water but it literally makes no difference buddy just stick the cheapest stuff in. Like anti freeze or screen wash it will make no difference to the performance.

The master and slave can appear fine mine does but its 17 years old now so you can garuntee they will be worn. A slave is only 20quid on the bay. Maybe worth trying tht plus giving the peddle a little adjust to see what happens.

A standard clutch would be fine what boost your running? Chances are you are about 200bhp at most. Maybe a stage 1 just to be on the safe side. I notice this with my clutch aswell but its defo not needing replaced. Its no where near as bad as how you make yours out though. Just notice its slightly more distinct when cold. I reckon mine is down to the slave or master being very old going to try the slave in near future.

K seal isnt worth a FUCK!! Used it in my VXR before I traded it in but never done sweet FA had to sit at a petrol station n let it cool down before going to the Arnold Shark for them to inspect it. Safe to say their diddy mechanics never noticed. Id just whip the head off its a doddle on these anyway then get a known good straight edge and check the bottom of the head if its flush you should be fine and just get it skimmed but defo a head off job dont try n quick fix it youll just make it worse.

Lol Epic reading fail there trisk lol. The EML is basically a light that comes on if a car faults multiple times in a row it takes its reading from a lambda sensor. I assume the starlets light does not come on because when we remove the cat we also remove the 2nd lambda sensor after the cat which would be for the EML. Most likely if your cat is at fault then it will be 1 of 2 things. Either it has began to melt because your car runs slightly rich letting fuel escape onto the cat and burning it. Or if its a diesel it could be blocked by carbon. The latter was a common fault on most VAG and Fiat diesels between 01 an 05 and required it to basically be ragged fuck out of in 3rd or 4th gear at 3500rpm for 20 min to clear it. Most diagnostic machines will have this built in meaning you can plug them in and it will automatically rev the car through its programme clearing the blockage.
