  1. dont have a number mate but i know exactly what your on about. dont give a shit do they, fucking morons
  2. yeah mate i labelled everything and moved it one by one from one engine to the other. ive put new oil in, and new filter. and the oils stayed golden ;) so hopefully it was just shit left from before ;) seriosly hope so
  3. no mate thats the only thing that wasnt. it was off krissyb over on tggt, i dont think he would have, or would sell a bolloxed head tbh seriously hope its ok lol
  4. the engine thats in it now that ive just put back in is the one the car came with, it overheated big time when i got it, so ive had a new head, had the block checked and it was ok apparently, new head bolts and gasket, and its still not working. cant say how gutted i am tbh worst thing is i start a new job on monday and need the car for then. you think i should put another head gasket in this engine? edit- its running ok, heaters get hot, revs fine, no real issue with any smoke out the exhaust. it was sat for ages in our garage, and basically ive replaced the head, head gasket and bolts with new. the head was skimmed. could it just be that the oil is a bit milky because of condensation or anything being in the engine while its been sat? or that because the other mechanic when he took it out didnt remove the old oil, i did it last week? you think it could be ok? if i cahnge the oil again for some fresh and see if that changes ill know yes??

  6. just put my engine in, was planning top do it with the td04, but its turned out a balls up. waiting on parts for the turbo. so ive put my ct9 on to try it. have ran it for about ten mins, sound a bit lumpy but that could be down to timing. checked oil. milky. so now i dunno what to do. just put my old engine back in. or re do this head gasket. cant beleive it
  7. not the only one struggling there mate. subaru wont tell me without a reg either
  8. theres a big dot on the exhaust cam, and 2 small dots on the inlet, they align on that mate, or theres a link below that explains in more detail http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/forums/showth...mp-Installation
  9. apexi el series anre nice guages as well mate, specially the new model ones
  10. fair enough therll be a sard rrfpr up for sale soon then lol, but the hole and thread size is to big for the post cat sensor, it looks like it will only take the pre cat one?
  11. my wepr td04 kit only has one lambda sensor fitting space near the bottom of the decat, im assuming i put the pre cat sensor here, and do not use the other one? is this correct? also will i be ok to run the kit at .7 bar via wastegate spring, using a 225lph fuel pump? will i need to use my rrfpr at this stage or will the standard regulator be able to handle it?
  12. yeah it happens to me but only under hard braking
  13. yeah thats what ive got to now i think lol, ill know tomoro when i bolt my head on and put it all on to make sure. spent god knows how long working out hw to best do it lol
  14. ill do it for 300 na i did mine myself, first time ive ever done it, changed full gearbox and clutch. saved god knows how much. if you have the tools i would definately try it yourself, the tutorials on here are very easy and simple to follow.
  15. bump anyone? mani isnt going to be heat wrapped so cant have the oil line touching it.
  16. when it comes off the turbo does it go towards the engine or towards the front of the car?
  17. got a braided oil line with a sorta 45 degree angle on the turbo end. im using a wepr evolution kit if that makes a differeence, well i cant get the oil line to go anywhere without it touching the manifold. and im sure this isnt right. its braided as well so its not like you can bend it wherever you want. so where have you ran yours?? asap please
  18. gotta say i really like it mate, and glad you got a white one as well looks so fresh and clean compared to mine, just get ready for spending big money lol
  19. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...E:X:RTQ:GB:1123 ive got this, which is also an evolution. so unless im doing somehting wrong, my ext w/g will sit nearer the gearbox next to the de-cat. my screamer is about 8in long??
  20. have a look through the techincal section mate its been covered a million times. some people have done it relatively cheap, others have spent thousands, have a look at one of my last threads, its called td04 users, how much??
  21. yeah thats whats on there mate. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ALUMINUM-RACING-RADI...=item3a525e4685 sorry ive looked again most the others are from usa http://www.toyosports.co.uk/honda-civic-92...-6499-113-p.asp
  22. i ordered mine today from camskill. just standard kit nothing fancy but it depends what your after doing. traders on here also do them but i think camskill where slightly cheaper.
  23. try toyosports mate, thats what ive got and a lot of other people use them as well. good quality and really light dual core. good price as well edit- theres shit loads on ebay mate, range from 27 quid to 150odd
  24. sorry to spam this, is the mani specially made or something? i have the evo kit as well, with a wastegate extension town the side of the engine and a small screamer.
  25. i got mine last week, plate because me 350, but be careful as if your buying from anywhere but dvla you have to pay the transfer cost as far as i know (£80) i paid half because got it from a mate. also to retain it costs £105 quid a year. so its a rip if you keep changing cars etc
