  1. yeah, strait off the bug-eye. it's not going to be for a while yet buts yes, they'll be lots of pics
  2. i did not know that was your plan also, it just removed it from my corolla as that is having a rear subframe from a gt4 fitted (i'm in the process of finishing it's 3S-GTE 4WD conversion) and thought well, it's a perfectly good IRS setup, why waste it and i know that is the weak point of the starlet platform. so i thought i'd just throw it on there.
  3. here's a couple of pictures i too from the day: and a familiar vehicle hey gtr-r33? your friends intergralé was immaculate
  4. is it the vine inn? because google doesn't accept just 'the vine' and i do not want to get too lost really... Post code? ah i have found it, the problem is google has put the actual pub miles away, so use this link to the bus stop which is immediately outside it: google linky
  5. fare thee well oh mighty beast, gone but not forgotten.
  6. good to hear it passed it's retest, should be quite potent once you've made it your own.
  7. oh and hopefully, with enough planning, this will be the next mod the car receives:
  8. well this past week i've sorted out something that has been bugging me since the 6 speed bos went in. if i used the paseo gear linkage brakcet i could select all 6 fwd gears and 80% time select reverse if i tried hard enough. if i used th corolla's linkage i could select reverse very easily and the first 5 fwd gears, no 6th. so i trimmed 15mm of the corolla linkage and then weld it back together, this made it 10mm longer than the paseo linkage and exactly long enough to easily select all the gears, as if it were standard fit. plus the gear knob sits in a more natural position now, tilted ever
  9. scores 10/10 for originality and effort.
  10. try t-cut to save it, followed by a good polish. if not it may require a respray but that is pretty bad if it need that.
  11. might be able to pop down to this.
  12. thanks for the offer, Galliano but i'm getting a custom one made up, with extra long runers, tuned for the ITBs. there is a starlet /paseo meet going on in hampshire area on the 19th
  13. i know the feeling. the ITB's are much of a 'BAWWWWWW' ness and does drink fuel because of this condition.
  14. go to the post office with evidence of posting and the photo's of how they arrived. should be simple enough to claim back that way.
  15. you can actually get more miles on that mani if driven sensibly, i think it's to do with harmonics or something clever like that where, because of the longer matched runners, the air actually scavenges itself. so at about 3000 rpm you don't have drive too hard to get good torque delivery. oh and noticeable gains, the most prominent one is the is loads (i mean lots and lots) more torque low down the rev range.
  16. looks very awesome, lots of work has clearly gone in.
  17. why thank you, i'm looking forward to pictures of your progress though. i imagine the 6 speeds really shift on the lighters starlets. saving for a decent exhaust header next.
  18. in the first weekish of october i'm free so could probably collect it then maybe. you still got a front bumper lying about?
  19. kyb excel-G are OE replacemnt. SR's are their slightly firmer damper, not too harsh but stiffer than standard.
  20. trundled past your glanza's at about 7, no body in sight. very smart looking wheels though.
