My Paseo has now gone to pastures new (sold to future brother in law) i think i'll still hang around on here though, good bunch plus it's nice to be helpful if i can. Its is to be replaced with a MK1 MR2, i hope to use some of my paseo knowledge in my new venture.

look on my g6 gearbox swap thread and it'll show you how easy a gearbox replacement is. also this is where you will find the drop link and a close up of the type fitted to mine:

there are two kinds of drop link that might fit your car. if you have a picture of your one it will help immensely. both are found on EP91 so if you know which of the two you have you can buy replacements, for instance from fensport.co.uk also i happen to have a spare 5 speed paseo gearbox, i fitted a 6 speed to mine so i don't need it anymore.

selling the car as N/A with 6 speed to a family friend. everything else i'll sell on

i was thiking of doing this, so much so that i have the 5E-FHE rods in my house along with a set of 315cc injectors, ep82 4EFTE ecu to re-pin to the paseo plug, the starlet turbo oil filter relocation gear and a td04 kit which i was going to run with a focus st intercooler. but i really need to sped more time on my corolla and we've decided the paseo has to go i will miss t's 6 speed. best of luck with this, if your interestd in any of the gear i'm willing to let it all go for a stupid price to a paseo owner who will use it.

depends on what type of 4E you have. the coil pack type, the separate distributor type or the coil in dizzy type. also depends on which typre of 5E your sticking in, etc.

awesome!!! the cable tidy looks sweet, i didn't even know you could get that stuff in that colour. the clutch cylinder cable looks cool too. hope those guys with the gear shifter company deliver what they said they would.

need picture of your really before we can make an educated decision. FYI i poly bushed my OEM ARB used the fensport droplinks abut didn't use their rubber i swapped that for the 8x drop link poly from camskill and used the 2x ARB bush from camskil as well. definitely worth every penny.

wondered when you were going to make this thread, looks great mate.

precision bit of kit really, very important job so not going to be cheap.
