Shame mate My personal opinion is that if you get offered something like that again, get it scooped up! Mileage means nothing to be fair, itl always be a chance with a 2nd hand car! Mine was bought with 85k and she started pouring smoke after 5k of owning it! Doesnt bother me in the slightest thoug, these things happen. I know its not the same but my Caddy van is on 143k and it runs spot on! Good for another 143k

About waxin and that dude, in my opinion leave the new paint for a few weeks t cure. Dont wash it for the first week other, give it a better chance t harden. Wouldnt want swirl marks . And use a microfibre wash mit aswell.

Nice one Steve i was looking for ages for Mikalor clamps.. Didnt know about Roose Motorsport though. Few questions, what size clamps and how many of each did you order because i have a HDI intercooler but cant remember the 2 sizes... 2" or something? Next question is what did you ask for, for the hoses for your Power steering reservoir and that? Just a length of what ever size And im going to be running a Tongs hybrid with my HDI FMIC, was a wee bit of a struggle getting the pipe on the turbo but i got it on... This gonna be stressing the turbo with the pipe pulling at it? Great write up as ever... Should be a comp for the best build thread

You can use normal paint on your rocker cover Georgie, you just have to make sure its prepped and primed properly and it isnt laid on! I had a chat with Turbo Dave and he helped me out

You wont need the actuator before you fit the Decat and Manifold. I had both on mine with the standard acuator and lo/hi boost soleniod inplace aswell. Like Sparky said it is ideal to have it remapped after each mod, but it isnt practicable thoughh . Well my bank balance wouldnt stretch that far

Standard GT with a decat, got 135mph on private land before i ran out of straight tarmac!

They dont need them but you can still have the FPR fitted but screwed back.. Or am i under the wrong impression there? Obv a lovely HKS Fuel rail wouldnt go a miss though

Mate... i actually feel tired from ready this build thread haha! Quality attention to detail, i like it! That exhaust is the bomb by the way, bought the same one and she fits an absolute treat! I made up new HDI FMIC brackets aswell but bolted mine to the bumper backing bar. As for jubilees on the piping, i tried 2 on mine when i became short of two...? and when i tightened them up i strecthed them and they dont tighten very well now. Now changing to plumbing hose clamps. heavy duty ones Keep up the good work buddy... Maybe one day il put up my thread haha!

This car looks like mine and stripped out like mine! You can use a motorbike battery??! My battery the now is to big for the tray (previous owner and his tie wraps!) Might investigate this? just any bike battery?

Did you get sizes Durmz? Ive got mine at home could measure them up tnite if you were stuck for them?

The HDI FMIC bov outlet is 1 1/2" bud, bout 38 mm, you van get a reducer off ebay, I used racebikebitz ebay shop for mine.. About not using the bov, i dunno how that would work. Im pretty sure you need it?
