Try the car idling with the reservior cover off, if it bubbles up through there it would suggest the headgasket aswell! Just remembered my A3 showed similar signs to this and thats what i did!

That is exactly what this site is for! A community to help others. In my opinion Biffy, this lad is long gone and you arent going to hear from him again! You could get some advise from a legeal advisor but apart fro that, not sure what else you can do at the minute. I wouldn't be getting nicked for doing him in, but i wouldnt get caught either! Not condoning it though, as frustrating as it is! Pay the fee's guys, its alot safer. -
I did mine out the top with my box attached to the engine. Used a crane with the lift points on the engine, just had to take my alternator off because it was clashing with the bulkhead. Once that was off she slipped out quite nicely! Fealscott- Thats a nae bad idea if you havent got a crane!

Ahh i was unaware of that, cheers Tim. So a compression test would be the best option to rule this out then?!

Water mixing with the oil makes it go creamy. Have you checked you havent got a leak? hoses all fine?

im £65 a week on fuel, and get up for an hour drive to work! Just one of those things dude!

At my work, travelling time doesnt count. This isn't so bad because i work in a workshop most of the time, but if we have a job at a quayside away from work, we still dont get paid for travelling to it if it is first thing in the morning etc that we are going to that job? I can see where your boss is coming from about being at the first job at your start time, and if that is the case then you should be working your 9-5.30pm. Thats my opinion though bud, could be totally wrong.

Georgie, watch when cleaning it. The paint is still fresh/soft. Ive always been told to leave it a week atleast before washing it, and obviously rinsing as much of the shit off before washing. I normally get different shampoo for new paint aswell as new mit, but im a fussy bugger!

race spec cam cover, what fittings
Johnboy GT replied to Sparky's topic in 4E-FTE Engine Discussions
I looked at catch can setup's and a few of the lads on TGTT did it different ways, but i cant remember/find what the ways were. This is what confused me tbh, didnt know what way would be best or that so just never did it. So if your running higher boost this is advisable to prevent blowing your crank seal? -
Glad to see you didnt stick for too long bud! Well done!

hate to sound stupid lads, but if you are running higher boost can you use the PCV etc, or is it better having a catch tank setup... Not really sure on this whole topic? -

This thread had escaped me!! EPIC WIN in all of it...

Had the same inclination! Now it'll be either clean it up or get another rocker! Far from impressed with the company tbh! Cheers for the reason lads!

Evening Lads, Just before i sent my engine away to get it forged, i decided to get my rocker powdercoated. However on closer inspection they have managed to get powdercoat on the underside of my rocker. Will this pose a problem if i put it on the way it is? Heat wise and melting...? I aint spendin all this candy just to have a problem like this f**k it up! So any guidance is appreciated ;) Cheers John
