  1. ^^ as above.. manufacuters have to have an average co2 emissions across there whole range.. due to goverment legislataion and all this going green shite.. its shame but ah well!!
  2. get whatever you can afford mate.. dont bother with valve springs unless your reving the car harder than standard..and cams are going to cost you alot for decent ones.. hybrid will be fine with forgies but you can run hybrid to its max on a standard engine.. save the money on the hybrid and go for a td04 or similar or upwards.. will be more cost effective for the future mate.
  3. some relase bearing make a noise some dont.. its just the way it is lol
  4. they are adjustable in the form of replacement wg springs.. i have sard Type C-II.. 0.5bar spring is about £45 delivered... oem one i believe is 0.8abr WG and springs all avaliable from Sumo hope that helps
  5. exactly the same thing i did.. unlucky chap.. best of luck for next time round
  6. lol yeh you should be fine.. i belive the glanza/ gt ones just have a slightly larger diameter
  7. lol its cool.. but your right.. something is deff up with that.. those inovates are shocking lol.. ultimate jdm wheels them

  9. woo hoo.. Well done for beating a standard clio ;)
  10. Indeed.. i got mine from there.. was abit of an impulse buy tbh lol.. was just up that way.. poped in to have a look and came out with a GT lol but i was quite lucky with mine.. the only fault ive found was that the exhaust had been puttied together.. and im still not convinced with that red one.. just doesnt look right.. possibly a conversion..
  11. dont be fooled by WRC's imaculate looking paint jobs... also something doesnt look quite right about that red v.. and its not just the spoiler.. and if thats true about keighly and wrc.. dont go anywhere near the place.. it will be full of shitters!
  12. Its the oem recirc bov.. leave it as it is and it will be fine. Oh and "wastegate chatter" does not exist mate just for reference

  16. and you can have my engine for £350
  17. nah mate im miles away... but tbh getting a good glanza would be more difficult with that budget.. would be more realistic getting a decent gt with 3k.. and gt's are for winners lol hahaha..
  18. yep as others have said they are road legal.. cant see you getting any miles to them though mate!!
  19. sparky man thats rough lol... impressive hes squashed that in but its horrible... would love to see that try and negoitate bends
  20. paid 2400 for my mint silver sr a year or so ago.. only had 25k on it though... i would say 2k is reasonable if it is mint mint! got to remember there was only 125 silver SR's in the world mate edit.. just re read sparky's post.. id say 2.5k is worth it with 5e-fhe and the teins!
  21. Nice to hear your considering.. all you have to do is make up your mind... Glanza or GT. There is a wealth of info floating around if you do get probs.. also there are many people to ask if you get issues.. also working with these cars are relativley easy best of luck with the purchase!
