    i would say ignition; check you plugs are alright and gapped correctly aswell as above info people have given or your fuel pump mate

    hmm... will have to decide, i think the science about the rings not sealing properly if taken easy is quite convincing though....

    yeh i will change after 20, will also use a magnetic sump plug as hopefully that will collect most of the filings.. and after reading that im very tempted to go with that method gee.....

    6th sounds good to me rich - get a day off or atleast pull it sick, whats more important work or tdi.. its once in a life time as no-one is really prepared to pay £115ph unless you have too much money lol

    the engine is not that expensive i can assure you lol. fensport also do rebuild engines which they have in stock for £150 without vat or delivery ( approx £240 including ) and then spend the money you saved and a lil bit extra on forging it.... or rebuild it using someones used unwanted oem pistons and rods when they forge if you want to save some £'sss

    if you want a good engine go to fensport, if i can remember they are 425 without VAT but they will give it you without vat if you pay cash and pick it up or..... toby will do a conversion including evrything for about 2k... edit.. rob we got to stop posting the same stuff at the same time lol

    not a bad figure atal rick, it does come in pretty dam late though, takes 5k to make 200 horses.... and you need to get your wastegate sorted ;)
