I'm 24 with 5 years no claims, 1998 glanza, all mods declared for £580. It's not going to be cheap, I tried a quote when I was in the same boat as you 1 year driving and 1 year no claims and cheapest I was getting is around £2000. If you can afford it then its ok but be expecting a high excess and NO MODIFICATIONS! When I added a modification to the car they declined me straight away! Hope this helps mate, my only tip would be to phone about! Don't just assume you are cheapest with comparison sites! Ring insurance brokers! Usually pretty good mate!

That zep torque damper won't be about long mate! Bargain! GLWTS!

My guess would be turbo to exhaust manifold bolts have worked loose causing the whistle. Had the same problem on mine! Hope this helps mate
