New engine! only drops of oil coming out return pipe?
Sefton-EP91 replied to patman's topic in 4E-FTE Engine Discussions
Have you got the gasket for oil drain the right way round as this will restrict the flow..? -
Right I see, I kind of understood it but not 100% lol thanks guys for your help! I will go for a stiffer spring then, I'm not a big fan of the sound of bov's, love the flutter noise! Lol Thanks again guys

I have a HKS SSQV at the moment but was looking at getting the tial sport q. My question is. what pressure do I go for? 6, 8, 10 or 11 Psi? I will be at 1.4bar+ on a WEPR Billet td04 hybrid turbo. Thanks for all advice in advance

TUTORIAL, HOW TO CLEAN/REBUILD ICV TUTORIAL I MADE TODAY
Sefton-EP91 replied to mikey4410's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
Good tutorial mate will be doing this to mine once back from forging! -
The stage 2 has a bigger compressor wheel, not sure on complete spec though. Check out my build thread for pics. Sorry to put a downer on things but to clarify, the stage 2 isn't officially released. The one I will have is a prototype! Your best of with the stage 1 though because let's be honest ... You ain't going to be using the turbo at a constant 1.6bar!
-
My first tip would be to run the setup externally gated! Take a look at the ct9 power up kit from WEPR! Nice kit and on sale at the moment! Secondly you will be lucky to make 230hp on a ct9 hybrid.. I think 200 -215 is plausible but is maximum. Good luck with you build mate! Hope the feedback helps! Also.. Get in contact with Liam d on here, he could make you a custom hybrid ct9 out of the Standard ct9 you have! Pull very nice all the way to the limiter!
-
I assume when you said 230 you actually meant 330? The stage 2 should make 330 - 335hp without any stress. The stage 1 will be at its max at 330hp hope this helps.
-
If only you asked this in the next couple of months. I have a wepr billet td04 hybrid stage 2 prototype on the way. The stage 1 (330hp rated) made 255whp at 1.3bar (capable of 1.6bar) ... Remember this is wheel horse power, will be more at the flywheel

Small update ... Engine is fitted! Just waiting on parts from WEPR then she will be ready for the running in! How she stands at the moment ... Hope too have her back in next couple weeks if all goes well, I'm sure it will though! -
I assume you mean the hybrid that you made Liam? I didn't have mine on the dyno but it pulled very well to the redline! I don't have any dyno results though unfortunately! It's was a awesome bit of kit though!
-
Mine done exactly the same and turned out to be leads. I understand you say you had ignition overhaul but does do exact same as mine did.

***advive needed on what management to go for?***
Sefton-EP91 replied to chad94's topic in Electronics
Hi mate for the power figure your after your best bet would be an emange ecu. The ultimate version e has lauch control - not sure on turbo timer but timers can be picked up fairly cheap Or blue version which doesn't have lauch control but is a very cheap alternative and will do the bare minimum of what you need Hope this helps -
Check out WEPR's CT9 power up kit - they have a sale coming up very good quality aswell! Link to sale thread - http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/86679-2014-wepr-annual-salebegins-30th-october/ Post up what you want and go from there

There isn't a link. Best bet would be to PM Sacha on here
