The worst ive seen lol
-
Do you have a multimeter?
-
Right, ill get on it tonight. The wastegate hit the rad hose with the pipe it came with, also the welding on it was a joke. Ill see if i can mount the ewg straight to the manifold so its not as far away from the mani Old pipe
-
My ct9 gave off mental chatter was very loud
-
Also, where the water outlets come out from the engine ive just raken one pipe off and looped the other round is that ok? And when removing the water pipes off yhe engine i lost about 1 to 2 litres of water, with this automatically re bleed itself from the rad then just a case of topping it up?

Thanks very much
-
Thats ok then, mine faces the floor. Fits up against the screamer
-
Facing the screamer, is that wrong lol? Always seen ewg facing upright if you know what i mean.

Hi guys, i know eveyone says you can run a td04 without waterlines but do i simply stick a couple of m12x1.25 bolts in there and hey presto or do i wack a little oil in there to keep it lubed then put bolts on. Or does it simply run dry? Smoked a little from the water outlets earlier probably just burning a bit of excess crap outa there Thanks, dan

Sorted. Basically im being a tit. By not having the screamer on there, the washer/ring bit on the bottom wasnt pushed tight to the wastegate penny. My bad but thanks guys
-
Ill take it off and have a look
-
Just fitted a td04 kit and started for first time without screamer pipe on. I have a tial 38mm ewg and i could feel the gases coming out of it. Should it be a tight seal or is a little seepage expected? Thanks, dan

Swapping exhaust blades on td04
Turbo Goose replied to Turbo Goose's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
I know it doesnt fit buddy thats my point lol. Ive got a td04 chra sat in my room and wondering if i fit the tf035 exhaust wheel it would be ok or would it be unbalanced. Im tempted to buy yours at this point. Already wasted over 120 quid -
Hi guys, ive got a tf035 turbo. I bought a rebuilt td04 core/chra thinking it would fit. Turns out the exhaust side blade wheel is larger. Could i just swap the tf035 blade wheel for the td04 one and fit the rebuilt chra into the tf035 or would this cause it to be unbalanced? Or just risk it for a biscuit. Thanks guys Dan

Is that the one that was for sale with the 98 spec bumper? The guy you bought it off has got a bad name on here. Pic was taken outside some gates i believe half parked on the path?
