To all OEM SR owners.. get your bids in!
Turbo Goose replied to morgey's topic in eBay, BidJDM, Yahoo Auction Finds
Like I said in a previous post mate, if you PM me the price you are willing to pay and it's over what my max bid will be then I'll let you just bid on it, because if I'm there putting my max bid in then it's only going to cause the price to rise unecessarily. -
I'm glad we got some N/As on this convoy, be good to have some light competition

I know I wouldn't be saying this if I was the seller but if we bid now it's easy gunna go for like £150+, just like them SR decals which went for over £100 !!!!! -

Seriously guys, if your bidding on this, don't bid til the last 10 minutes, resist honestly. If you start bidding now it will just encourage randomers to just bump the price up, good if you the seller, not good if you want this. I know thats how eBay works but I always think people are serious retard when they bid 2 days before auction end, just bumps the price right up and people can't resist out bidding them. -
Personally I would as it looks like its got a couple of optional extras as it is so just nice to keep it with the collection

Any luck finding that cupholder mate?

This is my first proper convoy in my own car. I used to go on them back in the day with my brother when we went to to cruises around the midlands. Meet at McDonalds, Drive like total nobs, past all traffic including people waiting at road works and roundabouts. When I look back on it, they were all run by chavs who had no idea how to drive properly and some were just unsafe lol And in their 2L novas, corsas, clios, Renault 5s etc etc. You know the type of cars I mean

That would suck having to re-write it. I had a good read through it even though I have no intention of 5e'ing anything lol

Rob_bower's 242 bhp SR - Refresh and fueling upgrades.

You engine bay looks mint after a bit of degreaser. I've got degreaser sat at mine but dad won't let me go near it with a pressure washer once it's been degreased as he swears my electrics will suffer.... So my engine bay is staying greasy for now lol -
how many was there last year?
-
Do you know the height the discs should be for the SR? Because I got some before that were 238 diameter, 18 thickness, but the height was wrong. The height being the overall thickness
-
I ordered some which were apparently the correct size but the 'depth' of them was too much so caught on the guard at the back so would have needed spacers to fit them. rob, do you mean the carrier that the caliper fixes to?
-
Hi people, Probs been covered a few times but can't find a post. Just wondering whats required to fit glanza brakes to an N/A? And does anyone know the dimensions of SR brake discs as I ordered some normal N/A ones but didn't fit
