As long as you run a thermostat so the oil gets to the correct temp before it goes in the cooler I don't see why not. Does tge lines have to be a certain siza?

Did you clean out the exhaust? if it was the turbo possibly theres oil still in the exhuast and it needs to be cleaned out? just an idea?

That is odd my p&p idles at about 1.5k for 5 mins then its fine doesnt even move about is your king lead in good condition?
