just trial and error then i suppose, On a side note another thing thats bothering me, The way my strust brace connects is weired, I have 2 bolts coming up from my suspension through the strut top which go through the brace, the other 2 bolts dont come from the strut top. They are shorter bolts which are on a risen plate which looks like its attached to the strut top. The brace can only be tightend down to the this plate rather then the strut top itself if that makes sense?

ive padded allsorts out with socks, when you say the boot do you mean the bit attached to the car or on the back of the boot lid itself, ive padded alsorts out but not the back of the lid yet

Any one else got random rattles in the car that do their head in! ive got the strangest one coming from my boot somewhere cannot for the live of me find out where is coming from! everything feels tight and sturdy, since ive added my coilover my rear shocks also seem to squeek a bit which just adds to the frustration! Are there any known areas in boot that rattle that i can test?

mine smokes a white smoke on idle when cold, will keep smoking for about a mile then know smoke what so ever when warmed up

No wasnt brand new.. Got from a guy on here.. Just said its tongs gt spec 2... Its sais ct9 on it but the blades dont look the same as your picture at all.. Bit confused

i do love tegs but any teg under 5k is gonna have 1000000000k miles, is the only thing that put me off, would love the newer shape teg but they still fetch 8k minimum, type r hondas seem to hold value well

Test drove loads of these. Pretty decent out the box handle good and like to rev, Tuning potential is pretty poor. Engines have had all the BHP squeezed out of them already. im sure you could get a lil more but wouldnt be worth it. Only real way of geting big BHP gains is turbo/supercharge and your talking £££.

My mum owns a civic type r ep3, to be honest its realy disapointing. I realy wanted to like it to the point where i was going to buy one till i drove hers. Dont this but you off one though you might like it, just found that the hype and the videos of them was realy good but the power delivery just wasnt for me, would imagine it would be same story for the teg but ive never driven one so cant say. ANother car my mums owned on the diesel front was an Ibiza FR/Cupra 150 bhp standard but with a map can get 200 bhp easy. This was a very torque happy nippy car quite fun to drive.

when you say the valve set correctly do you mean the allen key at the top? just a case of loosen or tighten to set correctly? starbuck ill find you a link to the flange now, they can do the flange to any size fitment you like to
