  1. I was driving today i didnt use boost until i got close to my workplace, i boosted through 1st n 2nd gear no smoking.

    I came to a stop at traffic lights and i can smell burning oil and i see a mist of blueish smoke when i tap the acc pedal. After a few revs itll stop smelling and smoking.

    What could the problem be?

    I got a fforged 4efte only done 4500 miles on it.

    Its running a td05 20g turbo.

    Unmapped.

    Any tthoughts on what this problem can be?

    Stem seals are new

    Rings are new wiseco pistons

    Probably turbo seal?

  2. Ive wired up the hks evc v and now it doesnt hold.boost.

    I fink im doing something wrong with the ebc.

    Diaphragm has been checked no visible cuts or rips, just slightly rubbed on the vacuum nipple.

  3. I recently bought a hks evc v boost controller and i read the instructions on the manual to do a basic setup.

    After i done everything as stated and i took it out for a drive and it hit fuel cut and on the digital display it read 103kPa.

    Im scared that ill blow my forged engine, i.dont lwt the turbo kick in until its sorted.

    Anybody know if im doing something wrong with the controls.

    like this you can controlle more boost the tighter the bleed valve the slower it releases it should be steady boost this way and deffo not drop

    also in that vid i only see a baptec kicking your ass ha ha

    My mbc is the eBay ones. It comes with a little two nipple valve too.

    Monday im going to try the way you told me and see.if it holds if not my hks evc is on its way that should.do.the job

  5. your bottom niple is open ???

    you boost pipe feeds bottom nipple from the gate you put a T piece in that pipe and feed to your manual controller then from manual controller to top port thats how i would do it

    This is the same way my mbc is fitted. But instead of that internal wg im using external and have the pipe fitted to the bottom nipple of the wastegate.

    Is this correct?

  6. Hello everyone i have a problem with my glanza there is a boosting problem.

    Im running a ewg from tial it has a 0.8bar spring inside and ive connected a ebay mbc to the bottom port of the ewg and.left the top open.

    The turbo will spool up and when the boost kicks, towards redline the boost drops from 0.6bar to 0.4bar.

    Even if im running just wastegate pressure it doesn't hold the boost at 0.8bar.

    Why does it boost to 0.6 when ive got a 0.8bar spring fitted and why does the boost drop. You can literally feel the car slowing down.. More of a engine revving sound than the turbo if you understand what im saying.. Like there is no boost.

    Any help.or information on this?
