  2. Whilst it's nice to see Toyota get back into making Hot hatches, I think they'll have to try quite a bit, as appear to have been out of the Hot Hatch game too long and not in the concious view of the average performance oriented owner, as with previous cars like Supra, Celica, MR2, GT & Glanza, to name but a few. Somehow I'd like to think this will be an exciting addition to the current Currys PC World Ecobox Domestic appliance line up from Toyota, and tempt money out of my wallet, so to speak, but unfortunately suspect like the GT86 is just lacking soul/ that catch/ that edge needed t

  8. Or you could try the following guide http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=20127 off Detailing world for a cheaper but possibly time consuming option. I've done this on stonechips and scratches on my car and has done the job quite well, or at least made the stonechips/ scratches easier on the eye.

  10. Another quality worded Ebay ad that had me in stitches lol! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-PUSSY-WAGON-TAXED-TESTED-STI-CLEAR-/161107374385?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item2582bf7131#ht_1200wt_1170
  11. No probs dude, yeah the IS300 they are, as far as I'm aware, all Auto/ semi Auto tiptronic with the Gearshift lever and tiptronic Shift buttons on Steering wheel as well. Thats fair enough, Auto ain't going to be as fun as a manual/ drivers car, more of a quick point and shoot cruiser to be fair, but can still have a bit of fun manually shifting the Auto (although I get bored after 5mins and stick it back into "D" point and shoot mode lol!). Just an option to throw out and consider. Yeah doing a manual conversion would be a pita considering the options out there. In that case from what yo
  12. IS200's are ok, if a little juicey on fuel and a little gutless. Service History is a must, i.e Servicing has been carried out as per manufacture schedule, as there are alot of poor examples/ "Mutton dressed as Lamb". Check: All the Electrics work, as can suffer Electrical faults from poorly fitted Windscreens. Bottom Ball Joints on the front Suspension, as usually last 40k approx Shock Absorbers for weeping/ knocking. The car has at least 1 Master Key (Black/ 3 buttons) as cannot code in new keys if only Sub Key (Grey/ 2 buttons) is present, which can cost up to £1500 to sort. Tyre wea

  15. Yeah, his Supra was a monster. Managed to see (and hear it's monstrous roar as he screamed passed me, as if I wasn't moving, like a cruise missile lol!) it at a Supra owners meet once and Japfest. awesome car. Just waiting to see some vids of his new R35GTR with 900BHP now, lol!
  16. If you liked that, you might like this one........
  17. If it has got more positve camber at the rear. I would assume one way it could be done/ to apply more positive camber would be by vertically elongating the Stub Axle bolt holes (thus allowing the Stub Axle mounting bolt to stay/ bolt in a straight or original plain, even though more positive camber has been applied to the Stub Axle) and shimming the Stub Axle mounting/ using shims (or washers), in between the lower half of Stub Axle and the Stub Axle mounting face on the Axle Beam.
  18. Iirc, the "V" Stands for/ is an abbreviation of Vertex editon, a name grade Toyota gave to some Turbo Sport models, most noticeably or like the Aristo "Vertex" Edition.
  19. It is pretty cool, yeah I think Speedhunters is where I'd seen this as well ( was added to Favorites list lol!). I can kinda relate to his ideas/ views on his car/s. Not a Porsche fan myself, but appreciate them, as well as the story told.
  20. To quote from the website: "URBAN OUTLAW is a portrait of Magnus Walker, the rebel Porsche customizer who turned a hobby into an obsession, and an obsession into a successful business. From a workshop in downtown Los Angeles, Magnus obsessively harvests fragments from donor 911s, grafting them onto vintage frames to create one-off automobiles with the spirit of Ferdinand Porsche but an ethos entirely his own." http://www.reelhouse.org/mos/urbanoutlaw/urbanoutlaw
