I totally agree. I used to have a spoiler on my boot lid but some local twat kept trying to rip it off. lucky it was alloy so i could unbolt it, bend it straight and refit. But after the third time of it i`d had enuf , so took it off and ebayed it. I now have a piece of black trim covering the holes it was fitted with. Strange my car is left alone now

metalmickey0 replied to Socks's topic in News & General Announcements
didnt know such a thing was available.Looks like an Xbox power light too. Wouldnt mind the interior light staying on after i shut the door for a bit tho. -
I notice the bonnet doesnt fit properly. would also look better if the wing wasnt in primer

As the Borg say `Resistance is futile`. Give it another bash, if in doubt get a pair of side cutters and attack them as they only plastic

I`ve heard a lot about it and seen some of it. but the questions i have are, Hows it done. Is it one big vinyl sheet or just loads of random decals stuck on.? If lots of decals ,where do you get them? As fancy doing it to my fuel flap cover.

I know how you feel mate. Got made redundant 2 months ago for the same reason and i`d been there for 11 years so been spending a bit of redundancy on here. Getting low now so having to save til i get a new job. Little thing you could do to lighten your pain is draw on the dent and write `ouch` or some swear word to the twit that hit it in big letters, if your getting new bits it wont matter.

I like stickers, even more when they freeeee

I had that rattling too, found it was the panel vibrating on the lid. I now have no screws holding it on either. I used stick on velcro instead now of screws. Keeps it quiet and you can rip it off again if needed.

Best way to clean a rocker cover?
metalmickey0 replied to metalmickey0's topic in N/A E-Series Engine Discussions
Well i had a go today at my rocker cover with a dremel and brass wire wheel. didnt do a lot to the cover but worked wonders on my exhaust manifold till the wire wheel wore out. Think i`ll have another go at it when i get a new wheel. And work out a better way to clean the cover, Want em shiney, but as i live in a flat it has to be done on the car , unless someones got a garage.lol -
Does that mean to anyone who turns up and asks, as am now thinking of popping over for a gander. Its only a hour from me is castle coombe. Obviously i`ll have to park in the public carpark.

It`ll only last you a year tho
