lovinn the graphics dude, really works! what are those speedlines off? are they a factory wheel? cheers -
bright motherfooking green? red and green should never be seen, but will stand out like fook aspecially if you have some stickers, or bits of trim in the same colour of green
-
loving the project dude, quick work and looks top notch! keep it up.
-
yeah they need cutting out, go to your local car window suppliers and ask for some cutting wire. you need to take the plastic trim off the windows, poke a small screwdriver through the glue and slide the wire through. get a mate to help you. one each side of the window and saw through the glue with the wire

i dont need light wheels, i need strong and cheap ones, i have LOADS of rally and race tyres, and no 4x100 wheels, so i'll keep the standard wheels.... unless you really want them and can swap me for some random 14 inch alloys? pm me your address fella and i'll find out how much postage will be, no worries. money... err i have no job, and no money... i used to work for myself building classic cars, mainly VW's, but i have a bone disease so had to give that up, i'm in constant pain and my bones fuse together, i have to inject myself weekly to stop the fusing. my girlfriend pays for the rent o

yeah i have those, £4 for the pair, and yeah i'll ship to you no problem. i'll wrap them up and find out how much postage is for you. pm me your address. cheers

sweet, show him this tread lol fibreglass is awsome stuff, its really chilled out to work with and you also get high we have a couple of motors, but just 1600 aircooled sitting around, so probably put one of those in the rod, its gonna be ultra low, just for cruisin and scraping speed bumps

sweet, i like that! i was origionally thinking of castrol colours, like the celicas. i need a bis ass spoiler like that for the Paseo too
-
yeah i can do that no problem, probably as a rear sunstrip, as Demon-Tweeks will most likely be on the front screen. i aint done anything to the car today, ive been cleaning the bus and getting it ready for its MOT i need to pick up 5 1/2 gallons of engine oil for it this week,

Allreety, as some of you may have seen in Paseo Pimp, i'm building a Paseo rally car, and just trying to get ideas for a colour scheme. I fancy doing it in a Toyota race livery but with my own sponsors on there, so basically i'm asking for people to post pics of Toyota rally and race cars to get some ideas, a sponsor of mine makes vynal graphics, so anything can be done, and i need to choose a base colour to paint the car. If your interested in the build thread, take a look here: http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index....mp;#entry572902 cheers Rob

na parts arnt worth anything, maybe stick them up on ebay, shell isnt worth anything unless someone who is rallying one wants a spare shell..... and looks like mine is the only rally car in the uk and thats not even finished yet. your probably better off sticking a 4e in there and selling it complete, or just take the engine and box out and weigh in the rest @£100-ish. i'll take the standard bumpers and front wings off you if your selling them cheap enough/giving them away so i have them as spares, but i aint that fussed

its only a car, dont be scared chopping into it at the end of the day its only metal, and nuts and bolts. heres the wires the car doesnt need, was a bit of a pain in the ass doing this as i didnt have a wiring diagram, so had to follow each wire back to where it came from. its made the loom a lot smaller, neater and lighter too. you cant really see that well, but the loom was taking up the whole drivers side footwell, but now its nice and neat. rear struts: i also did the cam cover in a sort of bobble effect matt black too. thats all for now folks. i could do

i also made a quick shifter, cost me nothing and took about 10 mins. works perfect too. i took the origional shifter and modified it, real easy to do, all you need is a blow torch and a hacksaw or angle gringer with cutting disc, hammer and socket/pipe take the shifter out and stick it in a vice. the pivot ball needs to be slit, so take your grinder or saw and make a slice in it to the shaft. from top to bottom. now heat the ball up real well with the blow torch untill its nearly glowing red. take a long socket or piece of tube that fits over the stick but not over the ball, and hammer t

aye, and plus the engine sticks out of the engine lid, so its obvious that the engine is in the back sorry for the lack of pics on this update, i didnt get much done to the toyota really, as i had my mates mk2 golf in, doing a bit of welding to it and sorting out the paintwork that had faded badly (its a red car) i made some rear turet reinforcing plates and welded them in, the cage will also be welded to these so they will help stop the rear shocks deforming the shell after serious jumps, or even punching through, as the toyota metal, alltho real good quality - its quite thin. When i w
-
well i can make them thicker, and put captive nuts in for hinges, its just on this car they will be as thin as poss to save weight. its not going to be a daily car, so opening the boot is no worry... the karmann ghia has pins on the bonnet and engine lid, the fuel tank is under the bonnet, so every time i fill it up at a petrol station, i have to take the bonnet completly off lol. ive had petrol stations that wont switch the pumps on because they think i'm putting fuel directly into the engine, lol.
-
no problem fella. well, the boot will be mounted on bonnet pins, same with the bonnet the fibreglass will be so thin that it would just snap if it was on hinges
-
Nice one, yeah i'll go on the UKSC stand, no worries bit of an update from this weekend, i cut the panhard rod and welded in a M14 bolt to make it adjustable, and found some tube that fits perfectly inside the U channel of the rod, and welded it in to make it real strong: i took the fuel tank out to clean off any rust and dirt, gave it a real good coat of paint too: i need to coat the bottom of the tank in Fibreglass to protect it, as its under the car, my mate, ian came down to help me cut the windows out to give it a bit more lightness i decided the car didn

sweet sweet, yeah i'll come allong no problem, even if its not finished, i can A frame it down as a work in progress. i asked my mate, Ian, with the 86, and he's up for going too. looked on the JAE site, looks a reet good do indeed. how many cars we need for a stand of our own?
