That's good to know I wasn't ripped-off.

It made 98bhp at the flywheel with a Blue Flame custom Stainless Exhaust, a free-flow blitz filter and a mildly polished cylinder head. The engine had also been fully rebuilt with new bearings and piston rings.

Tunning Developments fitted and mapped mine when I just had it N/A a couple of years ago. Didn't add any power but was smoother and accelerated much cleaner. Plus improved fuel economy a tad.

It's the 4.2 and I paid £54 which I know is probably a little steep but didn't want to end up with a cheap copy that didn't last two minutes. It came from Xenontunning.co.uk.

I've bought a Bosch direct replacement as the gauge is second hand and the seller was honest stating the original sensor had seen better days. What angle would you recommend I can pretty much weld the bung in all the way round the circumference of the exhaust pipe which is 2.75 inch in diameter.

Can anyone tell me it its okay to install the Lambda sensor for my wide band about 4 inches from the Lambda that the ECU uses. It's a 4EFE engine so I have no where else to install to keep both 30 inches or so from the Turbo.

No doubt, Blacks a nightmare to keep on top of, but defo my favourite colour when it's perfect.

If you get chance pop in and see him or message him on Facebook, he gives sound advice, good products at decent prices. The hand washes that drop their wash mitts, leathers on the floor and then use them on your car no doubt.

Speak to Shane at High Definition Detail, he's based in Mexborough/Rotherham so not too far from you. He also does mail order via his online website. I've had some great products off of him.

I tried this about 3 years ago when I just had mine N/A, AdamB is right if you mess with the intake it makes next to no difference on the dyno, it didn't even move the power band. However polishing the exhaust side of things (mirror polished) did give a slight increase in bhp (about 2bhp) and a smidge of torque. Once again the power band didn't move. If I can find them I may still have the dyno prints which I'll post if I have them. Please keep in mind I'm no expert like AdamB and the polishing was done at home with a cheap die grinder and a port and polish kit from Frost Auto Resteration off

Hi, anyone got the thin temp sender with just the Spade Terminal that goes in the thermostat housing on an Ep 91 4efte. I need one with threads in good condition, cash waiting.

Have a look at my build on Race Techs page on here. 178bhp before gearbox losses, 155 bhp at the wheels. It was a totally standard engine, just rebuilt with new gaskets and bearings to be on the safe side. The instant spool from the CT9 is awesome and if it's mapped well you'll keep the reliability, I ran it for over two years with no issues whatsoever before I took the engine apart to check it. I ran a 2.5 inch stainless exhaust I had already had made by blue flame when it was just an NA with no problems.
