Take into account the fact that other things may be produced during the catalytic process. You may be getting all sorts of trace products going through your engine. Just because the combustion temperature is lower doesn't necessarily mean a slower burn rate/higher octane has been achieved. When differences in intake temperatures and humidity of intake air is taken into account when comparing Japanese climate to our climate, your pissing in the wind putting higher octane mixes in. 98 is fair enough but any more than that and your getting nowhere unless your running big power or have been mapp

Mine cracked around the stud on the 4th runner because Sam swung off it like a top mechanic when he "nipped them up". I always nip everything up to my standards then Sam checks them. He's now banned. Have it running up to temp, nice and hot, but of wd40 and just go easy

How much would one of these cost? I have strong views on stuff like this as I've spent the last 4 years at uni looking at stuff like this. Personally couldn't pay me to use one. If it was me I'd avoid it.

The value of the car meant it wasn't worth going fully comp. I'm too young to drive other cars, but I thought £1200 was a good price considering my age. I have a few bits like courtesy car etc etc on mine too.

Also with sky, 21 with 4years no claims and everything declared including td04 etc etc was £1200

Mine does this. There's a hole on the bulkhead that the air con pipes used to go through that is usually the cause. Mines the scuttle panel I think though, had it off about a year ago and didn't get it back on properly

i reckon with a bit of time and patience you could get the spaces back on with the meisters and panhard rod. yeah i've got my 14's on at the mo (the tyres are awesome for the shitty wet roads) but i put the innovites on the rear the other day to see what they looked like. Looked amazing but will definitely chew everything to pieces. might just try them for a day and see how bad it actually is. I could try setting the panhard rod over to the nearside slightly, not a bad idea. i love the 16's, they look so nice, but one of them is damaged slightly so if i sold them to get 15's it would be for

I put mine on trd shocks with 50mm drop and it basically wouldn't drive because I had 16" wheels 6.5j and the axle was way way over to the right. It scrubbed on a flat road in a straight line. Was epic. I've ruined a tyre after 20miles. Panhard rod is needed definitely. I'm lifting mine back up as it still scrapes with the rear aligned with a cusco panhard rod. Can't be arsed with rolling the arches etc.

you'll have to pop up sometime and see it mate, hopefully have paint on it around christmas. a friend of a friend has a spray shop, and will provide everything and do a full respray for £500. It's at a proper spray shop so will no doubt come out ten times better than what i can do with rattle cans in a freezing cold lock up haha.

Thanks for the kind words guys. That colour is sexual, love it! Might be a winner ;) I'm going to get the engine bay sprayed so we can put an engine and box in it so its at least towable, can't be messed with putting it on a trailer all the time haha
