  3. this is the stuff i mean matty. its almost bombproof. http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-1022-redline-l...oil-75w-90.aspx also think about it his way, the gears are splash fed. no oil pump in there so also not alot of ways to get rid of heat too. so if you have quite alot of oil in there the heat can dissipate better. heat is a major factor with engines and gearboxes. too much can kill it.

  9. hey matty. it may be a idea before draining your car to take it for a slight run first. get the gearbox oil slightly warm and then drop it. if you want your gearbox to last aswel you really need some shockproof gear oil. it is what i have been advised to put in the almera as i am planning to run 350bhp through a fwd box. i believe redline is the best company for it. its a company from the states but top fuel drag racers use it and swear by it for their diffs.
  10. agreed charl. basically you want the sensor as near to the engine as possible. the whole 36" thing is a bit of a guide line thing any who. yes the lambda or oxygen sensor does affect fueling so taking it off will effectively set your ecu to a kinda closed loop method. basically the ecu has default settings at a certain throttle opening with a certain voltage coming from the MAP it will inject X ammount of fuel at XXXX revs. the lambda fine tunes that. if your engine is not sufficiently burning or using up all the oxygen that it has taken in on the induction stroke it will pass unburnt ox
