  1. that all depends on what your going to do for me lol.
  2. nope me neither! would explain why it was loosing the pressure so quickly though when the engine was stopped. wideband needed and a bit of a remap
  3. lol! that pic of me i look really sexy!. also there are no pics of the blood that i lost while wrapping the screamer on murx! (yes i leaked claret on the wrap and cried a little) yes get the standard one back on for now. i really think before any other fuelling mods or fcd adjustmets are done a wide band is definately needed.
  4. lol phil, to be honest i didnt even know either! but hell yea bring that teg to hull and we will have to have a lil meet. adam, you always get my best side in the pics lol. especially when i was using that ratchet as a hammer because i couldnt be bothered to find one lol. il see about the nottingham meet. it may be on the road by then i really cant wait to see how it drives, plus i have just purchased another big piece of the puzzle watch this space! socks, starbuck i cant wait to actually get this on the road. may look a bit of a dog to begin with but it will get there. ;)

  7. welcome to the site. like shaun says the starlet/glanza community is quite wide so if your looking at a certain car, chances are someone will know something about it. good luck with the purchase
  8. sounds to me like you have been done over bud. hate garages like that. your prob talking less than a half days work there. maybe 2 hours at most. plus you have supplied parts so i would say around £70 at the most. find a better garage/mechanic bud. if they struggled to get the driveshaft out then i would hate to see them attempt a engine or gearbox change.
  9. just a nice supprise shaun. thank you for the link bud. i would have never have known!
  10. shaun you have just answered a rather large question with the link you put up to toyota gtt. consult the picture below and look at the gearbox. i do believe it is a lsd box with it having the extra bulge if you like on the rear of the box? am i mistaken?????????
  11. onwards and upwards drew
  12. as charl said the cam belt kit is on and the engine is now bolted in place. cam belt on engine in place for lifting engine bolted in place now all i need to do is get some more parts sold from the almera so i can fund the project a lil further. watch this space
  13. what kind of garage doesnt have a hub puller? it bolts on using the studs and a screw type device or hydralic pushes on the middle of the shaft. most garages have one. either that or get a copper mallet. that way you wont damage the threads on the end of the shaft.
  14. just a lil lew look whats just arrived!!!!!! and these came in straight after aswel! happpppyyyyyyyyy!!!!!! let the magic begin!!!!!!!
  15. as if some one dinked your car! arseholes.
  16. hey guys and girls just a small update for you. the shedlet is now in its new home for the time being. its in my friends lock up awaiting the magic to happen. basically its up on axle stands at the moment and ive just been doing some cosmetic work to it for now. so i set too with the schults and the spray paint to tidy up a few things before the engine goes back in. so after i had finished with the schults and covered myself with paint i decided to locate the battery in the boot. i drilled holes in the boot floor and made the battery a snug fit to the rear of the car. then i decided to swap the tailgates over as the one that came with the shell was cracked and slightly dented. ironically the tailgate i was fitting came off charls gt advance then i put the new clocks in that i bought from greasemonkey. i also got some rear calipers from him and he even left me some pads with plenty of meat left! awesome so now im waiting for the cam belt kit so i can replace that, then the engine can be slotted back into place fingers crossed the cambelt kit will be here soon and the magic can happen
  17. So web are you comin up then? Just need cam belt kit and I'm ready to put the engine in. Lol.
