  1. Looking around a buying a few auto Glanza's and GT's as I'm converting my EP91 replica. Can I swap my manual gearbox onto it? Is it as simple as bolting the old one off and putting my one on? Or is there more to doing this? Bearing in mind my current replica is a N/A Manual. Thanks,Lewis.

  4. Yeah timing belt, my bad! Ok well I've bought an engine with a silver cover.. Hopefully it'll be as good as a black one even those she's slightly older! Haha
  5. Whilst I was searching for engines I came across two varieties of engines those with a black timing belt cover and those with a silver one? I could never identify a difference? Is there one? Lewis

  10. Bought a complete engine only thing missing being the silicone pipe from the turbo to intercooler. I'm told it's a 'L'' shape! Anyone have one?

  15. Only thing I need left for my conversion is turbo side exhaust. So I need a standard exhaust and cat too. Would Rather a decat but my MOT is in may so I'll be decating then! Inbox me your price. Most likely for size it would need a courier... So would need postage ontop. Lewis
  16. So this is the exhaust comming up and connecting to my manifold! So will this need a new exhaust? or modding to fit my old?

  19. Basically I'm converting my non-turbo starlet to the 4E-FTE. Will I need to address the fuel pump?... Or can i use the standard N/A fuel pump. As I'm only going to be running the standard engine at standard boost! If not, what pump will I need? Somthing capable of around 250bhp tops for future plans! Lewis
  20. Hmmm! I might have to sell the full stainless system and buy one suited for a Glanza! As I'm guessing I can't drive it without the exhaust being connected... Id need to get to a exhaust manufacturers to get it sorted..

  22. Basically im converting my engine at the end of next month. I've bought everything needed. My N/A currently has a custom 2.5inch exhaust, can't remember the brand! Basically can I still use this exhaust? I'm planning on a blitz braced decat from the turbo.. Would this then perfectly line up existing non-turbo exhaust? Or am I going to need some kind of adaptation to allow it to flow correctly? I really don't want to have to buy a whole new exhaust system because I know it'll he costly!

  24. My N/A is power steering? So is that ok? Starter motor... Didbt think of that again is that transferable from my N/A? Flywheel and clutch was planning on using my standard gearbox and clutch, shafts ect... Then next month new flywheel and clutch as it'll sit garaged and driven a TINY amount! Would that be ok? You have a engine by any chance? ;)
  25. Found a 4E-FTE that I'm going to buy, I'm a a novice at what else I'll need, here's the description; "Extra Info: Bought this off s.murphy back in may. Its had a full rebuild including acl bearings, new toyota rings, oil pump, complete engine gasket kit. You are getting a basic engine with no altenator, inlet mani etc you will have to transfer your old engine bits over. Engine will be avaliable in january once i get my new engine. All the engine needs is a water pump and your inlet mani, alternator and a set of ht leads to drop it in" From what he's explained I'm going to new a waterpump, alternator,HT leads, intercooler, a CT9 and manifold... Is that it? Other than that what else am I goin to need to literally throw on a loom and have this turning over...? Or any other questions I should ask? Also, will my N/A alternator bolt onto this and charge ect... And any other bits I need be transferable? Lewis
