most fia harnesses have to be 5 point 3" because i had this trouble with dragracing, they wouldnt let me use 4 point -

Well yesterday I paid for my hose set off cj performance gone for a nice purple as I fancied something different and I ordered a few things off iddy ie Cambelt oil filters stuff like that, I will most likely order some more things next week. And my head has been sent off for a full recon because whoever done it before I had it. Didn't do it very well and every single valve was pitted and there was no way the was gonna sill lol Wll post some pics up soon off a few things I have been up to Jake

They mainly look at the lettering gap. I don't think it matters on plate size. Say if u have 2 letter directly next to you and the rest correct and you haven't got the original plate with u they usually give u an on the spot fine But as for plate size. I don't think it's a big thing. I have never failed a car on its mot for being to small. And I don't think I have ever seen anything on the vosa computer stating if a plate is to small. But I could be wrong

I believe it's a t 25 exhaust. And that it could make up to 700bhp. Just stuff I found on google while typing in the part numbers on it

How much anti freeze is in the car. Could have a blocked radiator or something like that. Which would cause that to happen because it can't circulate. But if not. Could be head gasket

Does it make loads of funny noises when it does it bud. Sounds like its getting hot to me

Doing a compression test doesn't always tell you if you have head gasket failure. Do you have a head gasket tester. Try that then see what colour the fluid goes if it stays blue its fine if it goes yellow your head gasket has blown If it stays blue. Then try a rad cap, I highly doubt it would be the thermostat because all that would do is make your car over heat With the rad cap undo it so its at the bit where it can let the air out but the cap can't fall off, and take it up the road see if the pipes are hard or soft. If there soft then it will most likely be the rad cap Jake

Toyota dealerships are weird because as soon as your say I have a import ep82/91 you can just see on there face, that they want to smack you in the face for making them press a few more buttons then usual, but anything is source able like when I rebuilt my standard engine, I had to waiti like 2 weeks because the rings and Conrod bearings where is jap land and like 4 head bolts there also, only had 6 head bolts in England,

Bit of an update. My forged bottom end with all the correct bits it now all built up, all bearings arp bolt for both crank and rods, Just wanna say Keith at zisco is a massive help and I personally would recommend him to anyone, I have been speaking to him for a while and he is always fair and keeps prices to a minimum. But let's go on, hopefully soon I should be getting my head gasket and bolts so I can build the rest up, along with me collecting my gearbox with a cusco diff in next Friday then I need to get my poly engine mounts off mike at tuning developments, and a clutch, waiting to se
