so i need both ports on my wastegate taken up with vac pipes? at the minute i have one vac pipe from turbo to bottom of wastegate so now i need a t piece in that and a vac pipe going to top of the wastegate ?

I do mate but im just running on wastegate spring! just got one van pipe from turbo to bottom of wastegate!

I recently upgraded my spring from a .7 bar to a 1.2bar spring in my external wastegate, got my ep back on the road and its still only boosting .7 ! Rang up my local performance car specialists and they said it would be 1 of 3 things dumpvalve is knackerd EWG is knackerd or my turbo is knackerd ! Blocked up my dumpvalve and the vac pipe and it was still to low boost so its either EWG or turbo ? Has any one had this issues and how did they resolve it before i buy new EWG or new turbo ? and spend money on the wrong thing ? any help would be much appreciated

this can be closed as ive just realised i put it in the wrong section !

Contacted my local performance car specialists (richard brothers) and they said it could be 1 of 3 things either external wastegate is sticking and causing me to under boost , dumpvalve is sticking and doing the same or the turbo is knackerd ! blocked of the dumpvalve and still underboosting ! going to check over all my vac pipes for holes and then if no avail then its going to have to EWG next !!

4500 rpm and your running that power nice work mate thats awesome !! looks great too!! engine is spotless

nope thats my next job mate but it is being held closed with a cable tie around the old actuator bracket at the minute!

its all still plumbed in and reads the pressure of what im boosting but i cant controll boost through it if you get what i mean ?

my boost controller isnt running nothing at the minute its just there really , i need a new solenoid so just running on wastegate spring pressure , havent got the manual as i got the boost controller with the car , at the minute i have one vac pipe from turbo one to the wastegate and other up top the boost controller i think !
