chances are your stock fuel pump is 15+ years old upgrading is always a better option, go for a 255lph TD or walbro and you'll have no worries

as above ^^ short term should be ok if fueling is set up correctly, but management is the better way to go

your thinking of the daihatsu materia but in japland was marketed as the Toyota BB MKII

yeah a Yaris T-Sport P1 gearbox is a straight fit but problems arise with where to put gear stick as theres no hole in the floor for a stick and front seats are a front bench so no room the auto gear lever is on the steering wheel and the handbrake is the 3rd pedal so that would all need modifying as well, would be a total ballache to do tbh
