Yes mate lol, i took it all off when i was stripping the car down and thought it would be rude not to start it up haha. And before i knew it i was driving up the street in basically a spitfire haha.
-
If you had a lower arm bar it would be cool if it could go as far back as that and be attached somehow.
-
Do like that.

Few folk on here have pretty smart front splitters, Corey, JayC-Glanza17 & Mark1991 of the top of my head.
-
Chris, cant you just get a 3'' or as near as pipe made up and have the BCS2 backbox ? Or you going front exit ?
-
My 85 has no exhaust atm, its not on the road yet so its all good, theres a vid in my thread thing of it running and it sounds like a JCB haha. Also when it was still N/a i drove it up the street with no manifold or fuck all haha, loudest thing ever lol.

Removing turbo water lines permanently ?
daniel_g replied to thorpy36's topic in 4E-FTE Engine Discussions
You can just run a loop round the water outlets on the TB, i have a TB off a N/a engine which doesn't have the ports. -
Glad i didn't post last night haha, i was away with it. Happy new year folks !!

Whoop whoop, down for this

As in arch space on GT compared to a Glanza ? Id say the same probably, never thought about it lol. I get what ya mean, if it rubs the inner arch you could get some spacers to shift the wheels out slightly.

Glanza Chassis Upgrades - where to start?
daniel_g replied to smithyithy's topic in Chassis & Suspension
Can get them off traders on here ;) The tracking will need done after the track rod ends yeah. This is where it becomes a pain with handling mods, after fitting handling mods, the tracking will need checked almost every time you fit something haha. Taking off lower arms etc disturbs the alignment. -
Also that offset means the wheel is closer to the hub as apposed to being pushed out towards the arch like ET10 for example.
-
I had the exact same wheels & tyres on my old GT, no issues at all, was lowered on Tein springs which were ment to be 40mm but it still sat high lol.

Glanza Chassis Upgrades - where to start?
daniel_g replied to smithyithy's topic in Chassis & Suspension
Simple things first, new track rod ends, new ball joints and i bet you'll notice a difference ;) Then move onto the more expensive stuff. -
I suppose a fair wack of peoples money goes on labour, several mapping sessions etc. ? And changing setups 2 or 3 times would eat a lot of cash.
-
My old GT cost about 2K including buying the shell, shipping it 300 odd miles and building it up to a decent TD04 supporting mods spec. Admittedly that was done fairly cheaply but i got a lot of good stuff at decent prices. It was far from mint though lol, cheap thrills

Can we see some pics Ben ?
-
Yeah man its not far away from being done, main thing is now to get a custom exhaust made up
-
Just another small update, bought 2 rolls of heatwrap, so the turbo kit is back off now and the mani & screamer are getting wrapped, gonna leave the downpipe un-wrapped because its stainless and looks quite smart. Also got a half size rad so i'll get that fired on soon
