  1. Duno about that perhaps Iddy will shed some light. This is cheaper than i thought, http://www.camskill.co.uk/m19b0s1304p7194/EXEDY_RACING_CLUTCH_PARTS_-_Fast_Road_Paddle_Clutch_Kit_-_Toyota_Starlet_Turbo_%5BEP82_EP91%5D
  2. I actually got the spec used so duno where you get them, TD rings a bell. Yeah just like changing a normal clutch change. Some decent fluid and a braided clutch line are a must id say aswell ;)
  3. My 85 isnt on the road yet so i cant be 100% sure how it is the drive in town, but i had a spec 6 puk in my old GT ran it a 1.2 bar and it never slipped. Pedal was very reasonable in town aswell.
  4. Just posted in your build lol, Exedy 3 puk, 300 ish quid new.
  5. A Exedy 3 puk is a good clutch, around 300 quid new but it'll be able to handle TD04 torque with no worries ;)
  6. It'll most likely be the oil pressure switch or the wire to it, it sits on the right side of the block when looking at the car. Theres a single wire to it which is yellow iirc. New switch is about 8 quid new.
  7. Do this lol, ave got a boring grandad auto Legacy and almost fall asleep at the wheel driving the thing, cant wait to get drive my Starlet again haha.
  8. You can get OE spec headbolts for 30 pounds, very cheap of you ask me and saves doing a job by halfs or even worse having to do the same job again sooner than expected. Its Id-workz that do them for that price.
  9. Ohh my lord, theres a few folk with threads which are identical to that hahahahahaha !!
  10. Do you ever find pairs of wheels Marc ? I have a pair of OZ Chronos or something, looking for another pair of the same or similar. Can you let me know if you ever come across something ? Got no cash atm though lol.
  11. 4 pot brembo jobs ? Hahahaha. Got a full set on mine.
  12. As opposed to a fake one i assume lol. Sorry... :/
  13. Different guy, boost junkie on here lived in Glasgow area but moved to canada iirc.
  14. Its more to do with the cold air which has more oxygen getting into the combustion chambers and giving a better bang so to speak. Same kinda idea we fit huge front mounts. Think that it anyway lol, mechanic not a scientist haha.
  15. Front brace was well under priced, my pal has a rear one, pretty rare braces like.
  16. Very nice, why do i have to spend that money on car tax instead !!
  17. Like this, http://www.ukstarletowners.com/page/articles.html/_/club-site/sharing-photos-on-the-website-r27
  18. As it is bang it up for 1.5k and it'll sell, i personally would say not to break it, its a nice looking motor and am sure someone would enjoy it rather than the hassle of breaking it for no good reason. Where about in Glasgow ? Swap for my Legacy wagon lol.
