got a little update, was at knockhill for total jap car but wasnt in the glanza, and bought a trs tow strap and i test fitted my cupra splitter, was going to sell it but decided im going to keep it now and put it on the bottom of my 96 spec splitter the cars booked into wallace performance on the 5th of september to get the wastegate fixed and then mapped for the td04
-
Just wondering where people have put tow straps onto the front of their starlets and the best place to bolt then on? If people could post pics of theirs to give me an idea of where looks best so I can decide where to put mine

On my hybrid ct9 at 1 bar, seat Leon cupra that was apparently 220bhp, redtop corsa, corsa vxr, and few others I can't remember but also kept up with a jag xf on a windy road lol -
That sounds amazing!

yeah was really looking forward to having it all mapped, now i have to wait a few more weeks and they'll probably pass soo slowly haha
-
was at wallace performance getting it mapped this morning, but bad news, the diaphram inside the wastegate was ripped so couldnt controll the boost and they had to order the part for me but its coming from america so wont be fixed for a couple of weeks

thanks for the advice, just took my car for a small drive to get petrol and checked underneath and theres oil everywhere under the turbo so gonna have to take the radiator off again to tighten the oil feed up and hopefully that should solve the problem
-
well the turbo kit was a used one so already had the oil feed on top of the turbo attached so i havnt done anything to it, so i dont know
-
i just fitted a td04 turbo kit to my glanza and when i revved it up there was a smel of oil and noticed that there was a slight leak of oil round the oil feed, theres no room to get a spanner into see if the bolt is tight, should i be worried by this or should it be ok?
