  3. well all i sold on the green glanza a while back and then bought a golf GTI it was fun to drive nice car but not what I was wanting got it cheap so used it for a bit then sold it on. So a few days ago I went to Carlow to pick up this spoke to the lad on the phone asked a few questions said I'd take achance and drive up have a look at it wasn't really as described few marks around the body rear wheel bearing growling but driving wise cantbefaulted real tight little car on the road plus had a cd player and a set of 14 inch alloys I did haggle on the price and got a few pound knocked off plans

  6. I think im having the same problem as you my temp gauge sits half way but the heat from the heaters isn't great will warm the car up inside but the temp of the heat coming out of the vents is fairly crap let me know how you get on with the matrix flush im going to get a bottle of rad flush tomorrow and see what that brings up or clears
  7. I don't think so as that would be like crossing the poles on a battery sparks all over the place would blow a fuse or melt wires at worst
  8. see its part of a loom that is looped in with the headlights so if it was removed would cause a problem with other parts in your case the headlights try what I suggested with the wiring coming from the passenger side and leave the fog light socket unplugged from the rear light cluster but with a bulb still in it once you have both rear reverse lights working you can sort a way of either by passing the fog light or been able to hide it away say in side the pocket but out of site or you could use the wiring from it to power something else a neon in the boot or a interior boot light as long as it
  9. as above picked up an ep80 there last week have noticed the heat from the heaters isn't great there is heat there does warm the car but not brilliant the blower motor is also noisy I know its a 93 car but I though the heaters would be a bit better I was going to fit a new thermostat and flush the heating system aswell also to ad the temp gauge doesn't drop when driving so its not a faulty thermostat
  10. best of bringing a pair of wires from the passenger side reverse light (earth and live) and get another bulb holder and some wiring attached to it and connect the the wires you brought from the passenger side to that leave the fog light wiring attached then try the headlightssee if they are working as for the fog light I'd leave that with a bulb in it if the headlight work remove the bulb try the headlights again if they don't work then the bulb must remain in the holder to maintain the circuit you could get a small led strip put it across the bottom of the back window inside the glass would b
