  1. This is the only video i can find of the noise is makes (not my car). I know the fuel stabilizer or whatever the fuck it is on the end of the inlet plenum makes a clicking noise, but it's coming from that area and is LOUDER than the noise in this video (but same sound just louder). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AK_C-duyfwI
  2. Oh I didn't realise. In that case, 91.
  3. Not sure if this is the correct section but yolo anyway. The car has started to develop a very weird ticking like noise over the alternator side. Does it even when I'm driving. What is the problem anyone? Alternator bearings gone on the wheel? Or bearings gone on the bottom pulley? Changing the belt wouldn't help I don't think, as it sounds a bit more mechanical than just the belt. Really need some help though cause it's doing my fucking tits in.
  4. Amazing coilovers, would highly recommend to anybody.

  6. I ran a JAM fcd and worked 100%. ARF's were perfect and fueling was absolutely spot on. Ran like a dream and could abuse it all day long and not have to worry.
  7. Fucking people who say don't use an FCD and FPR. Use what you want lol!! I ran 220bhp on my first td04 at 0.9bar and then ran about 230bhp on my td04 hybrid at 1bar maybe just a tad more in the cold nights. You will get so many people commenting saying to just buy an ecu. Well fuck them!
  8. Tbh if I was a mod I would ban a lot of people just for lols.
  9. Sounds exactly like mine! Fair enough then mate I will just have to stick with it and see how it goes lol!! Cheers for the help people really appreciate it .
  10. Cool man fair enough, I hope it will be ok over 300bhp then lol.
  11. Hah yeah I guess so then man! Yours is un sprung too then? How long you been running yours like it and what power is it mate?

  13. I tried to sell something to him last year via bank transfer and he said no cause he didn't trust it/me. But then I met him at japfest and sold it cash in hand. Also wasted my time quite a bit before and I did put a thread up in this section when it happened. 50/50 as wasted my time but did end up buying it in the end.
  14. Same with mine, everything was cleaned and bearing was greased and the noise is only every so often as the noise does go away when driving. I just don't like weird noises like that, especially just before I'm going to get the car mapped to make over 300bhp lol..
  15. Well, that is re-assuring man! Hah at least I'm not alone!! Yes micky, all greased up and brand new! And cheers Adam i'll take a look!
  16. OEM. Yes brand new in box! I don't but I can try and get one I suppose.. Not sure if it would pick up on camera but I can try. What is your opinion?
  17. Driving, first of all right out the garage it was pretty fucking noisy down the road.. Then I shut the windows and went through all the gears and had a 20 minute drive back to my house, on the way back home it was fine, put the windows back down and couldn't hear any noises. Also when I got home and on idle there were no gearbox noises. Then I drove it again later on yesterday evening and on the way back home again it started making noises again. So I'm not sure?! It's unsprung dude! Yeah on idle if you rev it, the noise either goes away for a split second or it will get faster. Yeah,
  18. Well, I bought a clutch off a friend, it's a spec6 and has been used. To cut a bit of the story short it's in good condition, otherwise I wouldn't have bought it. Fitted it yesterday as I was home. So all done, it went well.. Fired up the car to test it out, and from the gearbox there was a strange ticking noise, imagine if you spin a bike wheel and put a credit card by the spokes... That kind of thing! Now I'm wondering why the hell is it doing this? When the clutch pedal is down, it's fine and quiet like it should be. When you release it, the ticking noise comes back. The bearing is br
