Theres speed bumps?!

Whats the terrain like where the stand is? I remember at donington it was like a 4x4 track getting to a stand, and i dont quite fancy getting stuck

What does the coolant gauge on yours do? Mine just went straight up to red when i turnt the car in, and proceeded to get higher when the engine warmed up

Yes mate, handles so much better, that knock is pretty annoying haha, think ima take the helpers out to get it as low as i want though Low is a lifestyle! If its not impractical its not low, still need to lower the rear more too

Im sure the floor will dent it for me aha, yeah if i was gna do it id just cut the bottom off and weld it on higher up. And im on tein front coilovers wound all the way down, on 13's with 165/55 tyres aha That is what im thinking, but i just cba having to get towed because ive hit my sump! Id rather not hit it thou, the more i tuck up the less it scrapes!

So, got Tein front coilys in the post today from bradp94, woop. Got em fitted straight after work Theyve settled a little lower than this, but, gotta go lower!! Although with em set solid, the cv joints are making it un-bearable to drive, bring on sunday! Theyve got a knock on the n/s but for the price i payed i can bear with it till the other noises are sorted Hopefuklly getting the tracking done tomorow, and doing the camber at the weekend, will try getting some better pics tomorow!

Tris know's whats up! I dont wana just delay smashing the sump, id rather get it up out the way, protecting the 'box, pulling the exhaust up and, getting the driveshaft angle abit closer to being non-rediculous so i dont eat through cv's. Ill see if its gonna be cost/effort worthy first though. Although i do enjoy doing things no one else has done before, it only makes me wana do it more haha

Im not really looking to spend big bucks on this car so i reckon a dry sump is out of the question. Im not worried about breaking it in one hit, its slowly scraping through it im worried about. I havent checked out the rear engine mount yet, but i believe the other too shouldnt be that much problem, i know alot of welders and engineers so hopefully if i cant modify the standard ones enough i can get some made or something.

Thought as much, will need to look into it a bit more, id rather raise the whole engine really, need to have a look into the engine mounts then!

Already smacked the sump on mine and i havent even lowered it properly yet! Or is there any sumps out there that sit higher up? Chances are ill probably have to make one i bet! Cheers

I wouldnt go for anywhere near that stretch if youre running big power, go round a roundabout a bit fast and boom, off the bead! Otherwise thatd look so sick with the arch sitting between the wheel and tyre!

Treated her to an oil and filter change today, cut the slats out the bottom grill and got happy with some leccy tape on the front end, ill get some pics when i can. Cv joint ordered so hopefully next weekend change that the other driveshaft and some fresh gearbox oil. Really needs a wash too, hopefully do that tomorow and ill get some snaps. All for now!

Bumping this as ive been messed about for ages, how much are the cvs iddy? Ive only seen them at like £80+ and I simply cant afford that!

Yeah the boso pipes are completely illegal, i did the research when i made one on my old car, never got a pull but me and mates always burnt our legs on it haha! Really like the direction you wana go, got a build thread? And this is definately the friendliest forum ive ever been on, easily the least bitchy forum around tbh!

Id say green, dunno why! Wheels are gonna look the tits!
