  1. Wheels have been painted and are waiting for the new 195/45 T1Rs. I would have gone with the AD08R's, but I already had bought Toyos last spring from another enthusiast, as he was selling them cheap. The car had a service today and it was done under the warranty as the water pump seal started to leak just over a year old. Last purchase came today too..from UK ;-)

  2. You can take the hole housing off from the rear held on by 3 12s i think,I loosened the alternator as well,

Just noticed today, that my water pump seal is seeping a little bit from the top of the pump. Can you remove the pump and the housing easily just by loosening the alternator? Should it be done from under the car?

This sounds easier than removing the engine mount and lowering the engine to get the access to the pump bolts.

EDIT: I have Glanza if it makes the difference.

  3. Yeah, I'm not an expert and that's only what Greddy says. The point is EMB is not limiting the injector size to certain cc, but the limit is more dependent of the ecu used with EMB.

  4. You can scale the stock ecu map up to 150%, so with Glanza's injectors(295cc) the scale limit would be 737cc.

The stock ecu will control injectors duty cycle and you can also adjust it from 0-100% with emb support tool.

  5. Then I needed a harness for my AEM UEGO wideband as I want to use it for data logging with EMU. Greddy sells the harness, but the price is quite high, so I bought Futaba servo extension cable that is used in R/C cars. You have to cut a small edge off from the plug and it will fit perfect. (already cut on the pic below)

  6. You bought a voltage stabiliser and grounding kit to do what? Why didn't you buy some decent bulbs and get your headlight aim don't ffs?

These kits do f all I don't know why people buy them

I don't understand why people give this kind of comments. If you can't see the effect with your own eyes, it doesn't mean the device(stabilizer) is doing fck all.

They actually reduce electrical noise and distortions, and it will increase the lifespan of the battery and the charging system(alternator). These stabilizers won't help with high current dips(headlights, ac, windows etc.) as their capacity is quite small, normally 10000 - 20000µF(microfarads). If you want to reduce high current dips, you will need a big audio condencer with capacity of 1-5F(farads).

Is there Starlet specific grounding kit available nowadays? groundingkits.co.uk or something like that was selling them back in the day..
