So today I had to have my windscreen replaced as I had the pleasure of a rock cracking it a few days ago. I come back and the guy starts telling me off saying that my air filter is located in the wrong place? (Sorry I'm still learning the engine side of things and it was in this place when I got it). Im just going by what i read on DVLA with regards to importing from Spain specifically. I have no idea of the reasons behind it, im just going by what I read. Hence why i said may be better off to ring DVLA.

You may have a bit of an issue importing it here as DVLA say it has to be less than 10 years old? You may have to pay extra and have extra checks, im not sure what the rules are around cars that are originally from the UK though Might be worth giving them a call and finding out, last time i spoke to them they were really helpful
