As above,the choo choo method is extremely valid and is a common chatter noise. An unrestrictive short as possible air filter and piping ,and no dump valve.
will keep u guys posted,cheers tobz,,also i do have a fault apparantley,no ecu light on at all but if i do a diag check i have a knock sensor still. will look into this obviously aswell
did reset ecu aswell afterwards. did turn the fue pressure to 34 as i said above and it did nothing and i am pretty sure it should have affected it slighty. it running very rich at idle ,not just a bit.somethings not right
when i bananaerd my standard rod as i said above i bought some pec rods and wossner pistons from dave personally (went up to hi place) he obviously thought alot of them as thats what he recommended
cool,well thanks as always for your inputs,will get one oredered up tommorow and get a new one fitted up. i thought aswell that it would make a difference if theres an issue with the lambda and its doing nothing the default as a safety precaution with toyotas is usually to play it safe and over fuel isnt it ? this is what i gather from stuff i have heard

massive huge amount of overboosting,i did the exact same to a standard rod years ago.i had a split in vacuum line to wastegate on a td04 setup.i was so lucky the rod bent and didnt snap
