yeah the map sensor values thing I only did as there wasnt any evidence of anybody documenting it in the depth I did. and the beam mod was trialled and tested for months daily until I was happy to reveal how it was done.had four large people in my car going over speed bumps at one stage and goin throught the lanes in a spirited fashion with no issues. :-D happy starleteering

hmm.its a tricky one.my mates scooby does it with a td04L and we never really looked into it tbh but it tailed of quite a bit at end of revs. sorry I cant help.only thing I wud do is lap in the ewg valve and yeah do ure gasket check.

Heya guys So I have been collecting some pretty cool figures in my other threads to do with map sensor voltages /values and also fcd voltages and various settings. so tonight i went a step further to find out the actual moment fuel cut comes really in at. most people seem to think its at 4.10v or even 4.15v so this is why i did it to check. it will be different slightly from starlet to starlet im sure but anyway on my car it fuel cut at 0.83 bar and voltage of around 4.20v >https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NYVtfJfuBAI&feature=youtube_gdata_player PLEASE NOT IN THE VIDEO CARS RUNNING SHITE AS THE MAP SENSORS NOT CONNECTED TO ENGINES VACCUM OR BOOST. NOTE THE ENGINE LIGHT WILL COME ON WHEN FUEL CUTS HIT

1 the bar thing was just an example man,and as for fuel pressure u cant guess/hope for the best. the ONLY option to do it correctly is to get it set on a wideband. as u say there is no way you want to be doing a rebuild anytime soon. do it properly once and get it right. widbands are fantastic pieces of kit,they realy are,only £150.
