if I doubt change ure thermo and also your rad fan switch. just for piece of mind. also if your really worried u shud link up a light or led inline with the fan so u can see when its active. tbh thats something I maywell do as it shows when fans on or not.

its such a clean car its mad. Theres metal components under the car including the chassis that should be lightly corroded and or rusted and they just are not, things that are painted and or powder coated are still in the same state from factory, really mint and rust free basically. Then theres the mileage on top of that which is extremely low. started first time from cold etc but as sam says it does need a new fuel pump. its a corker of a starlet and not seen much action at all. good find !!!!!!

rainsports are wack.cant stand them at all. the ns2rs are very promising ,the slime round thems worn of now and have been lovely.light rain this morning and it made no difference to how they gripped. cant wait to get wome heat in these badboys to see what they can really do.

ok so todays last day off before the track evening so was important I did some checks. good job I did as there was an issue. fitted afr guage and checked afrs: all good @ circa 11.2 checked all exhaust bolts :the ONLY exhaust bolt hanger was missing and wastegate bracket had cracked removed more bumper plastic to reveal more intercooler which meant crash bar had to be removed (temporarily) checked fluids etc heres a few piccys

yeah alot of people are saying that they work fully when on track with heat in them,dont get me wrong they are good cold but with some mad driving I bet they are goin to be special.

do a compression check, also get under the car and look thouroughly for oil leaks becuase thats a ridiculous amount of oil to use.

1.get some new front discs 2.mintex 1155 front brake pads 3.most important is to nenew ure old fluid for brand new dot 4 fluid.flush entire system through thouroughly and that will also make a huge difference. I have done the above and its changed my brakes so much its mad. ahh and also forgot to add, braided lines are a must.

same as u dont need a icv or same reason people dont run a pvc. as stated above,never ever had a coolant issue wether it be with coolant level or over heating or anything of that nature. I would NEVER suggest doin the above if I thought anybody qould have even a small issue.

every starlet I have had I have removed it. all have been fine even after hard driving through the lanes makes no difference,still coolant remains same level.

ehh u dont need it is what u do with it. lol I removed mine within a day or so of getting car.coolant levels always been same in 2 and half years.
