  6. thats what we are here for, help and advice and a second opinion!! :-D
  7. if all bottom end was completed properly and torqued to spec then theres no reason to go through the shitty job of removing , checking and resealing the sump. u had done a bloody good thing using a magnetic plug , if engines running well and no issues then ure good to go. also do a compression test if I doubt about engine bedding in properly. good luck and have fun
  8. christ that is madness. there very efficient then.
  9. will this alloy radiator here work better and more efficiently than a totally stock starlet radiator ? whats the deal....better at cooling or not ??
  10. the lower the number on the fcd the more it will lean fueling out. asaik you are meant to run stock fuel pressure on those ecus
  11. my side exit is 98db static and 92 or lower on a driveby at 10 metres.
  12. in answer to ure question if you did for some bizarre reason want to do that yes the fcd would make the ecu underfuel to an increasing degree the lower the number you went.

  14. adam and morgey ure inputs are greatly appreciated.thanks so muchly. :-D
  15. the coolers right out butted up to the inside off the bumper so well away from radiator, also the rad fan blows into the engine away from the cooler.
  16. Thanks j. no I was quite lucky and had good runs without issue. I need help in sorting a proper effective intercooler mate.I have opened a new thread in intake, fueling section of forum that needs to be sorted before I can do anymore track time. 45 degrees intercooler temps :-(
  17. so as a few of you know I did brands yesterday and my front mount intercooler thats the size of the stock topmount was hitting temps of 44 degrees and stayed there for everytime I was out.it peaked at 50 degrees this is way to high for my liking. question is what will fit under my na bumper but be big enough to keep my temps to a safer level please. any help/suggestions and or pictures of yours would be gratefully received. thanks
  18. those curb marks were on there when I bought them and paid £30, thats why I sprayed em black. I am STILL running the n/a gearbox .its done well. did have an issue with going into second 6 months or so ago , that has apparently self healed and now the only issue is the crunch into third which u can hear in the brands video above.
