To solely forge the engine u just need rods and pistons dude. if you do it yourself your looking about 1100 for parts and the labour for enginners shop to bore and hone

Had a hybrid years ago and made 190 bhp at 13 psi to give u idea, no management and a fcd

You can run a hyrid up to 1.2 bar.if your car dont make 200 bhp at 1.1 I would think sumins not right.

Running no dump valve isnt going to ruin or damage anything.but........ a dump valve releases the pressurised air between turbo and inlet manifold when the inlets fully closed to stop the compressor on the turbo stalling. A stalling compressor isnt desirable as it means its got to be re-spun which means extra lagg and again thats not desirable.

As above I agree with the mpg thing, I couldnt care less about what my mpg is, if I did I wouldnt have a starlet.but not having a starlet is never an option, ever. But IT IS interesting to see what people get, I do want to see that, if nothing else it will show up a problem of huge over fueling, or shows you have lumps of lead yoked to an incompetant oaf.lol

Low comp actually does the opposite, the only plus point on a td04 is ure off boost alot of the time coza the lagg.

General driving my td04 setup would do 80 miles on £20 On motorway at 60mph the £20 would get me 115 miles

I purchased a full hybrid setup from ricky for best part of £400. He was very informative pre-purchase sent lots of photos. He sent first class and fully tracked FROM IRELAND which was awesome and let me know when sent etc. HOWEVER........AFTER GETTING THE TURBO KIT THERE WAS A STRIPPED OUT BOLT ON THE CT9 MOUTH AND ALSO ON THE WASTEGATE HOUSING. AND WORST STILL AFTER RUNNING UP THE HYBRID TURBO ITS SMOKING LIKE A BASTARD AND NOT IN WORKING ORDER AS STATED IT WAS. SO NOW I AM OUT OF POCKET SUBSTANTIALLY, HAVE NO CAR, AND HAVE BEEN OFFERED NO RESOLUTION WHATSOEVER FROM 2333RICKY OR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT THERES AN ISSUE DESPITE PICTURES AND EVEN A CLEAR VIDEO. I HAVE HOWEVER BEEN TOLD ITS MY CAR AT FAULT AND VARIOUS OTHER REASONS THE TURBOS NOT HOLDING ITS OIL IN AS IT SHOULD BE. THANKS FOR NOTHING.REALLY HAS SCREWED ME OVER HAVING NO CAR AND DOESNT ACTUALLY CARE.HOPEFULLY PAYPAL WILL GIVE ME A REINBURSMENT. SO TO SUM UP, PROBABLY WOULD AVOID THIS GUY AS ITS BEEN A TOTAL LET DOWN

Update : So I recieved my new second hand full hybrid ct9 setup from 2333ricky in ireland. It includes a speed vison hybrid ct9 turbo Zisco ext wastegated ram horn manifold Zisco decat Unbranded external wastegate Its not done much work apparently either which is a bonus. I had to reroute my intercooler piping on cold side.its just temporary for now as I can get the routing straighter/more efficient. I have taken the car out, I am only boosting to 0.57 and it does go well already. I want to run just under a bar.might get a dastek uni chip soon. Boost comes in alot earlya now and I am much happier.

They do were im involved. Done it on mine and a few fellow starlet owners cars But as above, its not possible as the rear beams are solid and welded.

Update after having a td04 for a while now I am getting a bit bored of the laggyness of it. people are like td04s aren't laggy etc etc but they arent at full boost at 2,500 rpms are they. basically if I were doing a trackday I would want a ct9 or ct9 hybrid. the only issue with that is ct9s have an over boosting habit because if there tiny wastegate. so I decided I wanted a ct9 hybrid and also it had to be externally gated. sourced a complete unit of off 2333ricky in ireland. looks to be a great kit and am looking forward to recieving it very soon hopefully, maybe tommorow I have sold my whole horrible td04L setup and want to progress on with this new USABLE setup to give USABLE power. the thing with the ct9s is that they are made for these engine and work very well with them. I am excited to find out and try to remember what a ct9 is like.yes I am aware theres goin to be a small sacrifice of top end punch but I am cool with that i really am. will update with piccys when I receive unit.

Love these sportifs in white so much, however the mudflaps, grill wing mirrors and fogs dont work in my opinion, not a fan. other than that looks great and very tidy body wise, nice find . looks well
