I keep getting annoyed with my glanza as I use it everyday for work and I keep thinking about getting something comfier and more 'sensible'. This morning I went for a bit more of a spirited drive and fell back in love with it. Won't be selling up any time soon. When you feel boost again it'll be worth it

This is probably a stupid question but where is the idle screw? On the inlet? I think mines idling a little high.

GENUINE JAM FRONT LIP SPOILER - 98 SPEC GLANZA
AndyMB replied to GordR's topic in Starlet Parts For Sale
Have you got any pictures of it on the car showing what it looks like better? Maybe side on etc. trying to picture it on mine. -
I'm meaning to do this too. It looks like it can be un clipped around the edge and then just heated up to soften the glue and prize away from the unit.
-
Only just seen this on here. Paint absolutely gleams! Looks great. Did you detail it yourself?

I run about 0.8 bar. My car was set to that when I bought it. I have: HKS actuator CT9 - Wastegate may be ported RRFPR HKS FCD Standard ECU Never hits fuel cut, runs really smoothly. I don't think the FCD is really doing anything to be honest.

AndyMB's White 98' Spec (Update 22/07/13)
AndyMB replied to AndyMB's topic in EP91 Glanza Progress Blogs
Of course not. If people like the idea then go for it. This is the site I got it from. Bought the black years ago, will be buying the grey soon as I think it would match the boot carpet better. http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/accessories-carpetvinyl/ For the best finish its best to remove the boot seal around the bottom to overlap the carpet. Remove the plastic catch trim too. Adhesive is strong and the carpet is quite stretchy. Hope it helps someone else out -

It's self adhesive carpet. Got it online, it's quite stretchy and the glue is pretty strong. I was going to re paint that bit but I thought the carpet would look neater. It stops that annoying boot rattle too -

Thanks mate, yeah it's pretty clean now, finishing off the engine bay now. Yeah the exhaust pops so much, much better than my HKS one. No I didn't go to Japfest, will have to get there next year though when it's all finished -

Wow, haven't updated this in a long time! Done lots of little bits to this. Took the seats out for a big hoover pre Japshow. Can see my new matts in there too... http://s514.photobucket.com/user/Colamitybenny/media/Glanza/P1000072edit_zps51b0c391.jpg.html'> This bit on the edge of the boot always looked rough so I decided to trim it in carpet. Had black laying around so did this as a test run. Will now order the grey to match the carpet and do it in one piece. http://s514.photobucket.com/user/Colamitybenny/media/Glanza/IMG_0490edit_zpsd423dd0d.jpg.html'> http://s514.photobu -
Welcome as Rbz said, where abouts are you, lots of Kent members on here.
-
As in title. I'm after a rocker cover for a 4efte. Need one to paint up and clean. Based in Maidstone Kent. Cash waiting
-
Looks nice really like those wheels, what colour you painting them?
-
I'm going, just parking in the jap car park. Was tempted to try the 'podkhana' thing out.
-
Is the passenger side headlight new? Or in really good condition? Would you post it?
-
I might be interested too. I'm in Maidstone.
-
I'm running tein coilovers and they are really stiff. I use my car daily for work and they are getting a bit too un comfortable now.
-
Pretty sure it's inside the car, seen that spring, tried spraying it in oil. Pretty sure it's that, has that kind of rough squeak to it. Can you buy new ones anywhere? Or can it be quietened down? Doing my head in!
-
My clutch has started to squeak when being depressed. Sounds like a seagull! You can feel it getting tight as you go further down. Tried spraying it with spray lube but no luck. Don't think it's the cable. Any ideas?
-
Haven't seen your varis kitted one. Will look out for you. Seen the silver one a few times. Surprising how many are around this area!
-
Saw you coming out at New Hythe Lane. Was in the house opposite. '96 spec white. Saw a Black GT earlier by tesco in larkfield too. Anyone on here?
-
If the shows any good perhaps there might be more interest in a stand next year?
-
I think all the stands are booked now. I've already bought my tickets too as the shows in a month.
-
I'm going to. Just parking in the jap car park and walking in.
