Just ordered a FMIC (think its Toyosports core with custom pipework), GFB Respons BOV, Breather valve for the rocker cover, WEPR CT9 power up kit (external wastegate manifold, decat, braided oil line) and a tial wastegate!

Getting the external gate plumbed back into the down pipe. Dont like the idea of a screamer pipe

I am waiting on a GFB Respons BOV and a front mount intercooler (think its a jperformance, second hand) coming the next week or 2 in the post and am not entirely sure how i will fit them

This type of BOV is both recirulating AND vent to atmosphere, it allows you to control the percentage of air recirculating or venting to atmosphere. See this video [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECkvx-YWgQI

This is the intercooler

Where will i hook up the pipe for recirculating? Im assuming with this intercooler i wont be able to keep my standard air filter so i will no doubt be relocating my air filter to in-front of my radiator. By doing this i would probably need to route a silicone hose to my new air intake and find a way of connecting it to that. would i be right?

Old Standard exhaust

Nice shiney new HKS Hi Power Silent. Really love the sound of this exhaust, nice and subtle.

Due to a minor oil leak from the rocker cover i will be removing it this weekend, fitting a new gasket and painting it.

Well it would seem that way, been pulled 3 times since i got it in october lol

How often is everyone else getting a random stop? Bearing in mind its the drink drive campaign so more likely this time of year

I have focal access 6.5* components in the doors, tweeters in the mirror casings, custom door builds. I have a focal amp under the passenger seat too, this keeps clarity at high volumes.

Really nice clear sound off them, plenty of low end, personally i didnt want a sub because i didnt want to give up the space and find them overkill.

My gearbox is the same, pretty sure it's because my rocker cover seals leaks occasionally and it runs down the back of the engine and onto the box

Not sure if anyone else feels the way I do but why is everyone stating their power at the flywheel? (aside from the obvious fact it would be bigger)

Does anyone else feel its kinda pointless? because at the end of the day its what you have at the wheels which is important surely?

When i was sold my car i was told it had a decat, this looks like the standard cat to me. Not sure if anyone can tell from the photos? May need to get the car on a ramp to inspect it further

Fresh import making me the first UK owner pretty much standard with 46,000 miles on the clock.

I paid for the car without driving it which was slightly foolish of me but i am looking to upgrade anything that breaks on the car anyway. First things on the list were service and some tidying up while getting used to the car and to find out exactly what i wanted to do.

First thing i did was remove the cusco lower arm bar as it was bent and cracked. Then a service oil, filter, spark plugs changed.

I managed to get a carbon fibre cusco rear strut brace for £110 so that was fitted same time as the service

While in halfords i seen a set of 4" sony speakers and decided to upgrade. Sadly i found this upgrade only increased treble and wasn't good enough for me.

Took my car to Soundwerks in Hillington, Glasgow to have a Clifford alarm fitted, got chatting to the owner about the terrible sound and ended up booking the car in for 6.5" focal driver door builds, JVC headunit and tweeters mounted in the mirror casings

Next I fixed my sticky and slow moving windows. Videos on youtube saved me here, a damp cloth and silicone lubricant did the trick.

Painted my rear calipers red as well, yet to do the front ones as my axle stands are too tall! Excuse the dirty wheel!

Just had a 4 wheel laser alignment on my car (Pro-Grip, Bonnybridge) John at Pro Grip is great, took his time and did a great job for a really good price! I upgraded my tyres from nankang to toyo t1r proxes too, car is handling like it should!

Next on the list is an exhaust system, undecided between HKS Silent, 5zigen pro racer, Bltiz Nur Spec or APEXi N1. Im looking for something quiet on idle but reasonably loud when putting the foot down. Swaying more towards the HKS due to price, looks and sound but heard a lot about them rotting?
