Lol I spose they are lenses....just can't work out why they would have been removed or why anyone would just have those bits and not the complete unit? When you look at 98 spec rear clusters the top brake light lense is clear but inside the unit itself is another "lense" that covers just the bulb (you can see it in the eBay pic) a red bulb alone isn't enough to illuminate it red its just a pinky/white surefire pull by the law! Did you win them by the way?

I'm not gonna bid mate.....I've already got a set but they're missing the 2 red bits that cover the top bulbs (never new they were supposed to have them when I bought them) was gonna put up a wanted thread for some but don't really know what to call them lol

I've got this set up.....way better than I was expecting! Bought it for filming a couple of big trees I took down but the guy I got it from lost his licence due to the coppers finding footage on there of him up on the back wheel....just a word of warning, wipe the footage after any naughtyness GLWS

Has anyone got a before and after with these fitted or a side by side shot.....trying to figure out if they're worth the expense? I know Morgey's running them but to me they look the same as the OG's

Wanting to swap a set or rear tinted windows from 1 SR to another.....anyone any idea of the process involved and if it's possible to do without paying out?

Are we talking about the vented ones? And any idea if they'd fit an n/a front end as im wanting to widen the stance on my SR, got hubcentric spacers but want to sort the arches and have been looking at the 2 vented sets Id workz do, cant work out if they'd meet up or look shite?

Now that I couldn't tell you....I've only ever seen his 2 and the odd one or two pop up on eBay so I imagine parts etc are a bit of a nightmare, think the seller of this one mentions parts crossing over from the other charade models? I guess this would be third gen charade, first one was real box like, then came the GTti and I spose this?It's probably the first thing that you should consider when buying something rare....but I lose sight of that and just think "I want it, I want it!" There's a guy on the Isle of Wight with 2 black ones.....every 6 months or so I give him a tap on his door and ask if he's selling yet.....but he never is lol The GTti charade is still the best car I've owned, regret getting rid so much
