  1. Are we talking about the vented ones? And any idea if they'd fit an n/a front end as im wanting to widen the stance on my SR, got hubcentric spacers but want to sort the arches and have been looking at the 2 vented sets Id workz do, cant work out if they'd meet up or look shite?
  2. Will the cruise front wings fit the standard bumper......do they meet up?
  3. love this quote...
  4. Defo get a load more pics up mate....well done on the buy
  5. Now that I couldn't tell you....I've only ever seen his 2 and the odd one or two pop up on eBay so I imagine parts etc are a bit of a nightmare, think the seller of this one mentions parts crossing over from the other charade models? I guess this would be third gen charade, first one was real box like, then came the GTti and I spose this? It's probably the first thing that you should consider when buying something rare....but I lose sight of that and just think "I want it, I want it!" Lol There's a charade owners club, was chatting to a couple of members at Japfest....maybe worth chucking a few questions in their direction? How much is this one up for? (Don't worry just out of interest, I bought another ep last weekend)
  6. There's a guy on the Isle of Wight with 2 black ones.....every 6 months or so I give him a tap on his door and ask if he's selling yet.....but he never is lol The GTti charade is still the best car I've owned, regret getting rid so much
  7. ^^Deal ^^
  8. Just cut your losses and sell me the rear quarter Toby!!! Lol but in seriousness if there's a whole shell up for grabs I'm after a black Sr boot and passenger rear quater.....
  9. Pm T-dog mate.....he's after some big brakes!
  10. Just realised we've been waffling all over Jamie's build thread......sorry mate, delete all this stuff if you want dude! & pikey009 let us know how your plans progress as I've now gone in another direction!
  11. The anti-glanza is exactly the same idea I had, brought it up on here a while back with mixed reactions lol.....got to be the easier option then you could chuck the glanza kit onto the other car flog it to a glanza wanna be and make a bit back!
  12. As far as I can see the only real advantage would be electric windows and the rev counter....and maybe the springs if they were still in one piece? The electrics side was what put me off dumping a glanza lump in my first SR.....but many many people have done it.
  13. I'm totally with you too mate....although a glanza rear end on an SR is ok with me ;) I can't see the point in trying to make a slow car look like something its not....going the other ways full of win but unless your 17 and really can't wait for a Glanza, leave the SR's alone!
  14. I had an Alpine one with a built in amp under the front seat in my hilux and it was pretty effective, no window rattle or anything like that but defo helped with the sound range.
  15. I got some GT door bars off the forum about 6 months ago and then got an extra bit welded on to meet the existing holes for the seatbelt connection points.....because they were just short for ep91 fitment! Can't see them costing too much from scratch as there's no bending required.
  16. Oh ok that's interesting......ill give mine an ask cheers!
  17. Cheers all I'll give them a try! Like the idea of a snap-off one.....bit can imagine insurance wouldn't though?
  18. As above I've fitted a £25 eBay job but to be honest it's too short and badly made. Have a Momo "race" wheel but can only find an Omp boss that may fit an ep91, can't seem to find an official Momo one for my year? (98) What's everyone running?
  19. ^^ Lol not really.....I picked up a second black one yesterday too (4age conversion) That one you found looks brilliant for the money....will you keep both do you think? Or get a white one and complete the set haha
  20. Bit off topic but have people been having problems with the CJ hose kits? Hope it's nothing too serious mate!
  21. It does in that photo but its actually a real workhorse! Loves being overloaded but guzzles derv like a good'un!
  22. Mitsubishi canter 3.4 turbz, rear wheel drive (and yes you can drift it when its empty lol).........pulls like a train so just the job!
  23. At least his are different colours! http://s1293.photobucket.com/user/Joeflynns/media/DSCF2925_zps460421fb.jpg.html'> All aboard the Starlet train!
