harrystarlet
Having problems with my td04 setup, for some reason I can't get above 8.6psi according to my boost controller. All my pipework seems ok so I don't think it's a boost leak. I'm not entirely sure if my boost controller is plumbed in correct. It's a greddy profec spec 2 and I'm running external waste gate with .8 spring in it.Piped from the turbo to the bottom port on waste gate then top port to COM on the the solenoid, then NO on the solenoid to the intake which is t'eed to the controller? Thanks in advance Edited March 30, 2016 by harrystarlet

ChrisLeeBoost
Boost pressure source (pipe from turbo) is to go to bottom nipple on WG not top
Duduglanza
its vice versa mate.. pipe from turbo to the bottom nipple.
Ollieh17
Had the same issue. Common fault for a fuse to blow in the profecs making them useless. Fairly easy fix if you are good with a solder
harrystarlet
Sorry my bad, I typed it in the wrong way. I have fitted it with turbo to bottom nipple. Maybe I should have a look on the inside of the profec controller and see if there is a fault?
Ollieh17
You wont be able to tell by opening it up. Theres people you can send them off to on ebay if not confident yourself Edited March 30, 2016 by Ollieh17
starletezy
Is your actuator pulling your wastegate shut properly had an similar issue it turned out to be the actuator holding the wastegate a bit lose
harrystarlet
I'm running external waste gate on mine so no actuator. But it might be worth me checking the original gate incase the weld as gone and it's opened up a bit. If all else fails I will send the profec away incase there is a fault with that 👍
starletezy
Would be worth doing that mate let us know how you get on
mikey4410
Might be worth lapping in the external waste gate valve dude.
harrystarlet
Thanks for the advice guys, I will have a look over it this weekend and will let you know how I get on :-)
msg1
Ecu reset?
Gainzy
You could try changing the spring in the waste gate turning the ebc off and watching your boost gauge then if your still losing pressure it could be the ewg leaking..
Ollieh17
Try increasing boost with a manual controller. Was the greddy second hand?
