stevie82
Not been on for a while or touched the sr for a while it’s been garaged away so I’m going to pick up where I left off. As I said I’ve changed the tailgate and rear lights, it also has a number plate where it should be now too.
stevie82
right I fancy a bit of this so that’s what’s happening to the sr ! Just ordered a load of parts so let the fun begin

stevie82
Thanks man, I don’t think the car will be ready for the first round at cadwell which will be a shame but time and money is a factor unfortunately
stevie82
got plenty of work to be getting on with. Not too sure it’s going to be ready for the opening round at cadwell park as other parts still need to be acquired. If anybody can help I need a n/a bonnet, front and rear bumper and a pair of glanza front brake pad carriers. I’ll update when the work begins, I’m gonna try and take it in to work this week and begin.

morgey
You wont find any tte ones but they were made by eibach so thats the closest to OEM you will get if you're still going that way

stevie82
Took the rocker cover into work and gave it a clean up in the blast cabinet and parts washer then gave it a lick of high temp paint and replaced the gasket, plug seals and pcv grommet. Also got some new suspension nuts and bolts from Toyota which were extortionate !
stevie82
Also refurbished some rusty under bonnet bracketry and had them painted and lacquered at work

Pikey009
Good work mate. Are you doing japfest?
morgey
Looking good mate, if you ever need expensive bits from toyota, try amayama.com instead, still OEM parts and you will need part numbers first but you can save a small fortune. I got some engine mounts and ball joints last year, should have been nearly £500 from toyota, i paid £240 delivered after import tax and handling fees
