Looks fantastic. Walker I didn't realise it was your brother who's the photographer! That's how your pics are so good!

Yeah mate I'm not good with a camera lol so let him do all the work 😂

Thanks! Would like some semi slicks on some new wheels, got a list of things I want for it! Yours looks like it's fun on track!

Cheers, it was indeed! Few little upgrades and these cars are a riot on track :)

Where did you bolt the middle harness point? Got the rear and door side figured out but don't know about the other one... that thing must fly ahah

Posted

The harnesses are mounted round a strut brace that is welded between the inner wheel arches near the strut tops. It isn't that quick as it's nearly standard but it's light and is good in the corners!

Posted

Both the points for the lap part of belts are just clipped to eyes that are bolted into the standard mounting points on the passenger side but on the drivers side there isn't any access due to the subframe so the harness clip is clipped into a hole drilled in the subframe itself. Would be able to use the standard mounting points with a different subframe but it has a custom frame welded to the standard one to retain the seat adjustment.

I haven't updated for a while so here's a few pictures from last year!

There are a few things to be done for this year before the track days start so will put some more info and pictures up when it's all completed.

Yay red n/a starlet friend haha but seriously nice car mate need to get a pic of our 2 cars together at some point

Haha, red ones look the best once they've been polished! Will be at a few events this year so might get a chance to get a pic

Yes mate I had to sell as I had to start doing lots of miles. I do miss it loads, always felt special driving it. Got a mk1 fabia vrs now and it's a better car in every way but doesn't give you the same feel
