Chops Posted July 21, 2016 Share Posted July 21, 2016 (edited) Well, i decided i needed a new project car, something fresh and new to me, and low and behold, i now find myself with my 4th starlet lol.bought this in px for my beloved scooby, drove miles to go and get it, i give you, a showroom condition 95 gt turbo in the venerable 205 black:Nope, that would be too easy, so what it actually is is a battered mess of a 95 gt turbo with a non running, presumed buggered engine. still, it does have some redeeming features, such as it being my first sunroof model, and having an assortment of goodies, some needed, some less needed, and some decidedly questionable.All sorts of interesting shit on it, ironic really, traded a scooby for a mystery machine! what alloys are they, whats wrong with the engine, wheres half the interior gone, why does the screamer feed into the bonnet scoob and why has someone really carefully welded a screamer pipe directly onto the side of this tial external wastegate lol.First things first obv, pulled all the 'carbon' wrap off the bonnet, to discover more stickers underneath and pretty resonable paintwork for now, and i threw my mk1 bumper on. looks snazzy already! I did have a gt advance but a van pulled out into the side of it at 30mph and wrecked it. Still got a lot of it to fit to this one, so it lives on kinda.The mad old bottlecap/ronal turbo looking things need a refurb, so theyre getting swapped for these cades eros i got silly cheap from a scrappy and stripped em down to bare metal, dunno whether to go for a rota style dark bronze or gunmetal atm, need to take a vote or something.
